With such a catchy name, you have to stop in to this old timey candy store for a sweet treat! Worth the walk, although not far off the beaten path.

My parents don't live in Ketchikan any more so a couple times a year I buy my dad Truffles and send them to him. This time I decided to get my mom something too and she absolutely loved her peppermint patty's! Thank you Ketchicandies :)

We visited this store while on a cruise to Alaska last May. I didn't know what to expect so I bought a few different bags of chocolates to bring home as gifts. I had an opportunity to try some of them as people shared their candy with me. All of them were delicious. I bought fudge and also truffles among... More

Okay, when everyone kept saying you have to get some Ketchicandies I wasn't all that interested. But we did end up picking up some fudge and several of the chocolate covered oreos. OMG, they were fantastic! Really glad we stopped by!

Worth a stop in what is otherwise a painfully tourist-driven town center. If you want to escape the overpriced gift shops, the stores selling whale-themed jewelry, and the "authentic native art" shops, this is a good bet. The peppermint patties were particularly delicious!

I felt my hips expanding as I looked round, but after some tasting decided on a mixed box. A little expensive, but well worth it. Try the chocolate gummy bears.

If you have a sweet tooth, this place if for you! You can choose from so many different candies that are being made right in front of you. The cost is a little high for sweets, but well worth it.

Ketchikan Candies is a small chocolate shop that delivers some very good candy. To be fair, this place felt identical to other local chocolate shops in Skagway and Juneau- there really isn't much to differentiate it, and these small chocolate shops mostly sell the same things. I will say that this place had the largest selection of chocolate-dipped Oreos that... More

We were walking around the downtown area and when I walked by their open door, I couldn't help but walk in. That is how they get you! But seriously, we purchased some chocolate peanut butter fudge, and it was delightful. Not too sugary, and tasted almost like a Reese's. I love peanut butter, so it was a nice treat. Lots... More
