After strolling through Creek Street, it was nice to just sit, sip something cold and have a snack while watching the creek roll and the salmon run. The menu is small and service is decent. The bar inside is pretty much a dive and the space is wasted by a pool table but it's their business. The fried halibut was... More

I was hungry after the tour and we went for seafood. It was my first experience with Alaska's restaurants. I was surprised anyone would fry halibut, but I was willing to try. It was better than my later experiences with same. Fish and chips were Okay, but seemed like a waste of a great fish to me. The fish was... More

Enjoyed a quick lunch creekside. This is a tiny patio diner with limited but offerings, mostly of the fried variety. We wanted a beer with lunch and were a bit surprised that alcohol purchases had to be made elsewhere -- inside in the Eagles hall -- though you could drink it at your table. The Eagles are great folks, but... More

We asked the salesman in one of the shops on Creek Street where we should get lunch, and he recommended Halibut Hole. There is casual outdoor, plastic seating. Bottled water is available outside and any other drinks you have to purchase from the lodge, inside. The lodge also allows you to use the bathrooms. We had the salmon sandwiches. They... More

Good place to get halibut or salmon. Very small operation and a bit unusual but the food is fairly good.

What a great little open air place on Creek Street. Service was warm and friendly. We loved having lunch here as we watched the tide come in. Delicious hot food for a group of hungry folks.

We were on an Alaskan cruise and I was craving fish and chips. I'd would actually walk casually through restaurants looking at the food served and most fish and chips restaurants were NOT serving fish and chips... bad indication of their fish and chips. I remembered a little place at the end of Creek Street and decided to try the... More

Again, rainy Tuesday, Great location..yummy chowder, comfort food for sure, and if we could have paired it with the beer bread from O'Brien's down the way..It would have been glorious:) Great service, beautiful view while your eating, smell of fryer could get alittle intense but over all yummy warm lunch:)

This is one of the last places in town to get real hand-made fish and chips. Most all the other establishments serve a pre-made frozen product. Can't beat the real thing.

We stopped by this place , sitting outside to see the seals. This is a great place to watch the seals hunting for salmons. The food is average. Chowder was warm , not hot. It was a cold rainy day. Would be nice to have hot chowder. Also have some halibut and chips, it's ok. Its location is the draw,... More
