Really wanted to try this well promoted restaurant but - with only a few customers in the waiting line - the front counter staff of three (3) were busy chatting rather than processing customers. After an extended (as in way too long) wait - we decided to go elsewhere - where service & food was excellent. First impression of this... More

It was salmon clam chowder: smokey, with dill. Spicy. Delicious. The bread was jalepeno corn bread with corn visible. We each had a cup rather than a bowl because we were not starving. It was plenty. Staff was helpful. You order at the counter and if preparation is required, they bring you your food when it is ready. In our... More

This is just a order and take-away type place but it has fabulous food. The salmon clam chowder was hot and delicious after a boat tour.

They put the 'trap' in tourist trap. Long, long wait for what was listed as a pound of crab. Apparently their belief is that one leg equals one pound. It was already expensive before we found out it was one skinny leg of crab. Amazing rip off.

Dear Mr. or Mrs. Smithbeer, I am very sorry to hear that you had a less than satisfactory experience at the Alaska Fish House. All of our crab is weighed and portioned prior to service. However, it is portioned in 1/2 lb portions (of which we serve two when a full pound is ordered), so it is possible that the... More

We came here because it was highly rated on Yelp and close to our cruise ship. We had the Halibut and Chips and it was AMAZING!

This was a little fish shack that had picnic tables outside to eat at. We lined up and were served piping hot fish and chips in a paper bowl. It was simply delicious! I might even say it was the best fish and chips I had ever eaten. Not too much dough and the fish was flaky and hot. We... More

Super fast and the quality is unbeatable. The crab was so fresh we couldn't believe it. Sit near a window and get a nice view of the water:)

A bit pricey but very good fish. Generic fried fish and chips place with fresh fish and the staple sauces. If that's what you are looking for then this is your place! great view of the water and I like that if you get a table near a window you can open it to adjust your personal space temperature.

We had salmon and halibut here and both were great. Nothing very fancy, but the fish was incredibly fresh and the service was good. As others have noted, the Alaskan chowder is also something that you should check out - very good.
