What a fun place

We love staying in historic old hotels, this one did not disappoint. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was good and the staff was a delight.

Very poor service offered by 2 young men on the day we stopped in. Menu limited - we ordered fish and chips which was very slow coming - about 40 minutes. The young wait staff were more interested in chatting with a young woman at the bar than in servicing customers. One of them was also continually running his hands... More

Good prices, interesting specials, local harvest, great view. Family owned and operated. Small, intimate, casual. Breakfasts are great year round. Something for meat eaters, vegetarians, and kids! What more could you ask for? Owners are almost always there and they are the best! Have been ther for breakfast, drinks, lunch, private parties, and music, always a great time.

My wife ordered scrambed eggs with goat cheese and I ordered scrambled eggs on tortillas with chorizo. Both dishes came with "grilled tomatoes". I was expecting 1/2 tomatoes grilled, but these were cherry tomatoes grilled. Getting over my surprise, they were wonderful. The guys serving us were great. Service was prompt. Food was delicious and portions were perfect (for us... More

This year-round restaurant has some of the best food in K-town. They offer tasty veggie (and regular) burgers and falafel,as well as a variety of seasonal seafood specials- the recent king salmon special was cooked to perfection. And yummy homemade pastries and muffins. And the NY cafe is the place in K-town for coffee. Rafi the owner is very diligent... More

Visited after 5 days on board cruise ship and suffering from the lack of decent coffee. Commenced with a double-shot espresso and rounded off with a caffeccino. Perfect combo, rich, aromatic and satisfying coffee. Wonderful old-world ambiance in what must be the original bar at the hotel.

We loved the historic look of the bar. The food is excellent and fresh. We had salmon and halibut. We stayed at the New York Hotel. We were at the bar/cafe for cocktails and then came back for dinner.

I was just there.. I had the halibut and chips.. The halibut was so moist.. As a local and I am picky about my seafood, but this halibut it was just like what I would have right out of the water.. Try their halibut and chips...

Stopped for coffee and a sweet after shore excursion from cruise ship. Waiter's name was Tim and he was so friendly and funny. We really enjoyed. Great coffee and cake.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. I had the halibut fish and chips and substituted the chips for a salad..the fish was the best ever! The menu is not extensive or overly expensive. They serve Alaskan Amber beer ( yum). We ate breakfast here as well.... Our waiter was a friendly dude and kept us entertained.
