Went there for lunch one day and LOVED the atmosphere. The surroundings were really nice and yet the place was small but not cramped. The quiche I had was a broccoli florentine and was so flavorful. I work in opposite direction now so getting there again will have to be a weekend kinda thing. I do recommend Veronica's

This is a place for the artsy type of person. As much as I like art; I am most definitely not the artsy type. I'm surprised when I was there that there wasn't some guy reading poetry and everyone snapping their fingers for him. Definitely not for kids...not a family atmosphere. It's also very tiny.

Open for lunch and dinner. Live music in the evenings on weekends, and when I've been there for it it was pretty good IMHO. Menu selections are limited, but pretty good. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Some fishing buddies and I have been eating lunch at Veronica's every June and August since 2004. It's our absolute favorite place to lunch in Kenai. There is always a nice variety of unusual sandwiches, quiche, soups, and scrumptious desserts. We've never had a meal we didn't like. Contrary to another review…..it can serve 40 people. Our trips are not... More

The ranger at the Kenai NWR visitor center recommended this place to us on our drive from Seward to Homer. It was a perfect stop in old Kenai. They have a variety of soups and sandwiches. The food was great and the service was friendly. Next door and across the street are some beautiful Russian Orthodox Churches.

Good live music on Fridays. Homemade soups and sandwiches. Perfect place to grab food for a picnic on the beach.

Tucked away in Old Town Kenai is an old original building that now is home to Veronica's Coffee House. But coffee isn't the only thing on the menu! Lunch and dinner are served with the home-cooked, made-from-scratch ingredients that will have you coming back for more. I highly suggest the hungarian mushroom soup, but get there early because it is... More

Interesting place. An old, historic building that serves coffee and light lunches. It's in "Old Town Kenai" and worth seeking out. I had a small, light lunch (Mocha Coffee and Roast Beef Sandwich w/Lettuce, Tomato and Mayo). The staff was pleasant and friendly. I didn't try any of the deserts, but they looked really pleasing. Worth seeking out and having... More

Stopped in for lunch and it was wonderful. Nice variety to choose from. Couldn't decide what soup to have. Unique atmosphere with all the history of Alaska. Lots of food- we were stuffed! Everything seemed homemade and it was delicious.

Homemade food, lots of variety, and they have entertainment in the evenings on certain days. I would definitely recommend going her and having some carrot bread, a coffee, or lunch. I thought the quaint feeling of this place was amazing :)
