Tucked away in Old Town Kenai is an old original building that now is home to Veronica's Coffee House. But coffee isn't the only thing on the menu! Lunch and dinner are served with the home-cooked, made-from-scratch ingredients that will have you coming back for more. I highly suggest the hungarian mushroom soup, but get there early because it is... More

Interesting place. An old, historic building that serves coffee and light lunches. It's in "Old Town Kenai" and worth seeking out. I had a small, light lunch (Mocha Coffee and Roast Beef Sandwich w/Lettuce, Tomato and Mayo). The staff was pleasant and friendly. I didn't try any of the deserts, but they looked really pleasing. Worth seeking out and having... More

Stopped in for lunch and it was wonderful. Nice variety to choose from. Couldn't decide what soup to have. Unique atmosphere with all the history of Alaska. Lots of food- we were stuffed! Everything seemed homemade and it was delicious.

Homemade food, lots of variety, and they have entertainment in the evenings on certain days. I would definitely recommend going her and having some carrot bread, a coffee, or lunch. I thought the quaint feeling of this place was amazing :)

Veronica's is in a historic building in old town Kenai with a nice atmosphere. It is my favorite restaurant in town, I eat there often as I live in Kenai. They have some really good soups there that comes with some sort of corn bread that is really good. Everything I have ever eaten there has been very good. I... More

Was steered to Veronica's by comments on TA, other forums, and locals. Not hard to find, Kenai isn't that large! Small parking lot, but plenty of street parking. As others have posted, its a very small, but the funky decor works. Very good food, nice selection, efficient and friendly staff. I doubt you can go wrong here.

We found this little charmer by asking a local at the library! We were NOT disappointed! A historic building near the ocean brought us great views and atmosphere.. and the food was A+ too! Visited this gem TWICE!!

Took us quite a bit to find it, as no signs led to it. When we finally got there (just by the Russian Orthodocs Church) after several rounds in the neighborhood, we understood why. It seemed like they didn't need extra publicity, as they got enough clienture for their size as it is. Simply cute place, with fast, friendly and... More

We were with a tour in AK and were told to go to this charming place for lunch. A unique building and the food was very good. The service was friendly and despite being busy we did not have to wait too long. Glad we went--probably our best lunch in Alaska.
