I live down the road and come here fairly often. The food is good and the portions, especially salads, are surprisingly big. The place has an attached souvenir and convenience store, and video rentals. The restaurant itself has a fun diner feel. Sometimes the food takes a while, depending on the shift. The menu makes a lot of jokes about... More

Very good burger/sandwich fare, served at a leisurely pace. We enjoyed visiting here twice and would eat here again. If you order dessert, stick to a scoop of ice cream. Adjoining store was convenient and folks were all very nice.

We enjoyed two dinners at Rocky's Cafe while visiting friends in Clam Gulch. Menu is a fun read! We enjoyed the Halibut basket, special reuben sandwich, and cheese burgers. Food is fresh, hot crispy french fries, and very friendly wait staff. Cafe also has shopping attached, souvenirs, and market. Decor is fun, from the conversations around the tables, this is... More

We came across rockies on our way to homer. Its a classic style diner with local characters and plenty food and an added store behind for everything you. Good enough to return for breakfast on the way back. East to find on route 1.

My husband and I eat at Rocky's every year when down on the Kenia fishing trip. Hamburger super and fries are prefect. Steak was wonderful. Easy service and lots of ice tea great place to sit and rest.

good fried halibut and great slaw, large portions. Pricey but no more so than everywhere in Alaska. Connected to restaurant is a funky strange shop that has a little bit of lots of different things..food, clothing, souveniers.

stopped in here after fishing all day. We got there right at 9pm when they usually close, but they were so nice and said -come on in no problem. That's Alaska for you. We both had the "special" rib eye steak. baked potato, salad, grilled bread more than enough food and the steaks were huge not whimpy. We also took... More

A little ways out of town, but a good place to get away from town too. The food is always good and enough local dishes keep the menu interesting and refreshing. Good chance of seeing wildlife and/or mushers with a team.

Rocky's is an out of the way place that is difficult to find but find it and you can have an "Alaskan Experience" that you will remember. The building has a history that goes back to the Fifties. The building contains a resturant, a movie rental store, a clothing store, and a coffee shop that serves coffee from around the world.... More
