The crab was cold, bland and mushy. That says it all. The place is always packed, so I expected more. The lady that took our order was very nice and when I told them I couldn't eat it, they gave me my money back. That's something, anyway.

If you are planning a trip to Juneau this summer and especially a stop at Tracy's, please note that they are moving a bit farther south along the waterfront. While a small shop with a different menu will be in the location near the parking garage, Tracy's will move the Crab Shack behind Trove (a great gift store) which will... More

The food was good, the prices were very high and the wait seemed to take a bit long. Very popular but not a place I will frequent.

We ate here the first time in 2012 when we spent 4 days in Juneau. It's not a fancy place but the service is good, and if you don't go right after the cruise ships dock, you will get your meal quickly. My husband and I have traveled all over Alaska and by far these are the best king crab... More

Prepare to go away hungry and about 50 dollars poorer. I;m all about supporting local businesses, but this one is definitely for the tourist with unlimited cash to blow on their "Alaskan Experience". They'll get that all right, taste our high prices, cheechako! One tiny portion of bisque, a few crab balls smaller than a ping pong ball, set me... More

Tracy has great food, not cheap but good. This is basically fast food style of dining, order at the window and eat at picnic tables. Fresh Alaska seafood. Atmosphere is not what Tracy's is all about.

I occasionally drive tour buses in Juneau and always recommend Tracy's to our out-of-town guests. It is the best crab experience they will have given the short amount of time they have to spend in town. The only thing better would be to catch and cook your own, not an option for most visitors. Expensive, yes, but how often will... More

Are you looking for authentic Alaskan King crab? Maybe a delicious crab bisque? You HAVE to stop at Tracy's! The day we were in town, the line to order was soooo long & we almost turned away but thought "when in Rome!" so we stayed in line & the wait was worth it! The crab legs are HUGE! I couldn't... More

Where do Juneauites go when their own crab traps are empty? Tracy's King Crab Shack. Tracy's crab is the freshest you can get in a restaurant. Her crab bisque was featured in Gourmet magazine and rightfully so--even if you're just there for crab legs, get the bisque. It's an outdoor venue with shelters and heaters, right next to the cruise... More
