The food was very good, our server was nice and kept our sodas filled which always earns brownie points (and better tips) with us. We enjoyed a nice, relaxing dinner there while we were in port on a cruise, this was our first time eating dinner off of a ship in a port and we enjoyed it very much. This... More

This restaurant is at the top of Mount Roberts and has an incredible view of the harbor and channel. We took the tram to get up here. We had the crab nachos....a huge pile of nachos piled with cheese, onions, tomatoes and of course, crab meat. Very yum! And we couldn't finish it all. The food and service were good.... More

We had taken the tramway up the hill and did some hiking. We were rather exhausted and hungry. Timberline hit the spot. The water was plentiful and the food was good and hot. They have wifi so we were able to relax for a bit and enjoy the scenery. We both ordered from the small appetites menu which kept our... More

Josh has made our supper time a bonus with free WiFi. The hot crispy chicken strips are good. Good service tonight.

Came here for lunch after riding the tram. Arrived just as they opened and got a window seat. Probably - no definitely - the best view EVER while having lunch. Food was not cheap, like all of Alaska, but worth it on its own merit and definitely worth it when you factor in the location and vista!

The crab cakes were so tasty and fresh, they just fell apart when I started eating. My husband said the Tramway cheeseburger was one of the most tastiest he has ever had. It was very well worth the money, which wasn't expensive and the staff were lovely and very attentive.

A piano/sax duo played while we ate and enjoyed a million dollar view. The Halibut and chips and Alaskan Beer combo was delicious. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. And of course the tram ride up and back is amazing. Looking back, the most memorable part of the evening was the entertainment. Astonishingly good players, and we... More

Thank you so much for your review. We will continue to provide this kind of entertainment here at the restaurant. I have added Alaskan black cod to my menu this year. It is a great fish and I believe my guest are going to love it. Thank you! Mark More

We stopped in for lunch while on a cruise and had the crab cakes, fish and chips, and the salmon club sandwich. Everything was very good and the service was great.

I discusses this restaurant with photos in my Mt Roberts Tramway review. Overall, it's worthwhile to have lunch with a beautiful, peaceful view. So, if you take the tramway for the experience, this restaurant is a good stop. I wouldn't take the tram just to get to the restaurant.
