We took time off from our conference to walk down to the Hanger on the Wharf. The service was good and our view out over the water was great! Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Took a friend from Australia to the Hanger for seafood...what a mistake! While our servers were great, the food was terrible! The menu had changed from the last time I was there, no more Alaskan Beer Batter Halibut on the menu...the Captain's plate was awful! Halibut dried out, salmon had no flavour, calamari was over done...SO disappointed!

There aren't many places in the world that can compete with this view. Especially in the summer when you can watch float planes taking off right next to towering cruise ships. They have lots of apps to choose from. They also have plenty of 'Alaskan' fare to choose from like Black Cod, King Crab, King Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish and more.... More

The fried halibut was wonderful. Our party of six was easily accommodated in a lovely booth. The waiter was fast and friendly but it was his last day. I went low carb with a chicken dish, even had ia low carb section on the menu. Plenty of selection for the teen agers and vegetarian eaters too. The view of the... More

I stopped by the hanger after work since I was in the area. Scotty was at the bar and I have to give a shout out to him! He was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. In a few short minutes, I was able to try a limited release beer from Alaska Brew, order a great dinner of halibut, and... More

You really can't beat the view from this place. The building has much history and if you like float planes you'll enjoy the decor. When I'm in Juneau, this is a Must Eat location. Known for their great chowder, they also have great fish, super sandwiches, fresh salad and good service. Topped off with a beautiful view of the bay... More

My past reviews of this place have always been okay, mediocrity at it's peak. But that has changed and I am sorry for that. Maybe it was an off night, but all aspects were off. Really rushed, mistakes, just a general poor experience. I'll try again if someone else is buying and I do sincerely hope it has improved. BTW... More

As a local, if you visit Juneau and you have time to visit only one eating establishment, this is probably the best you can do for reliable food, ambiance and reasonable price. In 10 years, I have never had anything on the menu that was not excellent. It overlooks the water, is excitingly decorated, has excellent service and a kitchen... More

It's pricey, and it's busy. The clientele shifts dramatically, depending on the time of day and on the season. In the summer it's a young crowd, with lots of hard-working but energetic hypersocializing young seasonal employees of cruise lines and tour vendors. The service is friendly but not especially swift in the summer. After the cruise ships head south for... More

It is a very busy place, right on the waterfront. The food is good. Love the halibut. It can be a little pricey, and very busy especially at lunch time. In the evenings you can catch a band playing also.
