Great place to enjoy with friends and have some good cheer. Good mix of tourists in town and some happy locals who are happy to share stories of Bears in and around and overall Juneau lore. Lots of fun things on the wall to view and laugh at. Don't miss the opportunity to stop in for a beer or bite... More

We stopped in for lunch. The food was really good and the atmosphere was great. The piano player was hysterical!

Good food but the atmosphere was even better. Also very convenient to our ship with a nice shop as well.

The staff dresses in old timey costumes. The food itself is average fair, however the root beer on tap is worth stopping for. Feels like a tourist trap. I'd rather find something that felt a little more authentic.

We stopped in here between excursions. The staff is wonderful and there is live music. There are hundreds of things hanging on the walls and the barmaid gave us a list that you can use to try and find and then identify each item. It is kind of dorky but fun to pass the time while having a cold one.

This Red Dog Saloon has all it going for it, a wonderful gift shop that in its self is interesting to look around even if you don't purchase anything! The Saloon is full of great things hanging from every part of the walls and roofs, saw dust on the floor, a singer that is a bit cheeky with his songs... More

I took the Alaska State Ferry through the inside passage and stopped in Juneau for a day. Lunch here and beer was great. The Red Dog is also within walking distance of shops in town. A good waiting place for your friends to meet at.

If you want overpriced drinks and merchandise, look no further! Very touristy, but the inside has really cool decor and it's at least worth stopping by

As part of a 14 day Land and sea adventure with Holland American: We spent an hour or so in the Red Dog Saloon for a couple of drinks and absorption of the atmosphere. The Red Dog has not changed at all since Tom’s 2007 trip, other then they moved the piano player to a better location, and yes Wyatt... More

The Red Dog Saloon is something quite different! It is manic, it is busy, it is noisy, but it is fantastic.. We had a couple of good draft beers and some lunch there. I would not say the food was the best ever, but it was what was needed for a mid-day top up. The beer was Alaskan Brewery and... More
