The place is a classic in downtown Juneau, big and tasty cookies, the bagel selection is big and good. Laid back and relax, prices are reasonable.

I had the Caprese panini for lunch which was quite good, though it was my alternate choice since my first choice was not available on this day. The waits to take the order and getting it weren't too terribly long.
I have spent many $ at Silverbow. And have sent HUNDREDS of people there, but....I had a piece of rotten meat in a sandwich and I can't quite get over it. When I returned it, the help couldn't care less. Of course, that changes bi-weekly, so maybe the next crew is better!
I ordered a bagel with lox and coffees, not only they screwed my orders they also put the 4 people's orders behind me first! I had to wait 15 minutes just to get my orders. They didn't apologize just give me that whatever look! I love their food a lot but with this kinda service i don't feel like wasting...

I had heard good things about this place, so I was disappointed with my over cooked, burnt!!!, bagel and over cooked eggs (on the egg and cheese bagel). The chai tea I ordered was cold. Maybe a bad day? Maybe quality control took the day off.... it wasn't hard to see the bagel had been burnt, it's too bad someone...

We pride ourselves in being much more together than you experienced- So sorry that you had to catch us when we were not at our best (to say the least). Had lunch here twice. The sandwiches were tasty. The bread is nice and fresh. The cookies were delicious. The soup was also excellent. Salad was fresh and there was lots of it. Good value for your money. The staff was very friendly too.
Thank you, Cheryl! I'm so thrilled that you enjoyed our cafe while you were visiting. We're unveiling new and exciting lunch items this coming week, and I hope you'll stop by next time you're in town to try them out!
Until then-
