Ate here at the Rookery in Juneau,Alaska tonight. Warm and cozy, fabulous wait staff. I had the Alaskan scallops cooked in coconut milk with a squid ink adobo sauce. The dish was so good, but it consisted of four scallops. No rice, no risotto, no veggies, just the scallops, I left hungry. Customers should never leave hungry. Serve a little... More

Rooks on the wall, nests up above, friendly staff, free wifi and, most importantly, delicious food. Locals eat here and I can see why. Sloppy Joe toasted sarnie & carrot/pepper soup combo $9 and worth every penny.

We visited the Rookery every week in Juneau and it quickly became one of our favourite spots in Alaska. The cookie sandwiches are amazing, latte's are great and all the other pastries we tried were some of the best we have had! Give it a whirl!

Lively cafe with excellent food. My wife is coeliac and needs gluten free food therefore eating out can be a bit of a palava. Not at the Rookery, they even had gluten free chowder and burgers which were excellent. Agree with all the other positive reviews.

My husband and I celebrated our 8th anniversary at the Rookery Café and absolutely loved it! The restaurant has an intimate feel, excellent wine list, and most importantly creative and delicious food. We had a number of appetizers and the BBQ half-salmon - truly an unforgettable experience! We weren't expecting to find such a place in Juneau, and look forward... More

Wow. What a gem in Juneau! Local, local, local. So sophisticated, yet homey. Definitely try the pickle board and/or artichoke dip. Burger was the perfect (not overwhelming) size, and the house-made dressings refresh the palette.

They have the yummiest pastries around and really good coffee but the Halibut sandwich was to die for. Dinner featured some of the best Salmon I have ever eaten. Friendliest staff you'll ever meet.
