The vanilla cappuccino is smooth in a nice large mouth white ceramic cup. Off the path of cruise tourists. Many local artisans and residents spend time here. The halibut and rockfish chowder is quite remarkable.

was sent here by several folks for dinner.menu changes regularly and is small. Staff attentive and helpful. Tried the chowder which was good, but heavy on vegetables and light on fish.did not detect any salmon in the halibut and salmon chowder. The halibut main course was a nice sized piece of fish with minimal amount of delicious sauce and a... More

Large portions, savory, unique, delectable! We got the turkey sandwich and burger with a cookie. Nothing was left! They also serve wine, burritos, and coffee. Great selection.

Custom made sandwich and coffee drink were good. Kinda spendy. Clean, casual atmosphere. Bought an interesting book about Alaska and lingered over coffee.

They have some of the best food. The only thing is that you pay a moderately high price for a small portion of food. Other than that everything was excellent!!

It used to be that the restaurants in Juneau were consistently mediocre, then the Rookery came to town. They started uot doing a great job and it has only gotten better. As a matter of fact I believe that their success has motivated other restaurants in town to follow suit and the quality of food downtown has greatly improved as... More

They have off days it seems and the menu selections vary widely with the quality of the food. I like the bacon challa french toast. The coffee is sometimes awesome, sometimes not. Hate the old, cracked mugs and tiny tables.

Get reservations! This restaurant has become very popular. We had coffee and scones for breakfast. Better than Starbucks! For dinner we had the window seat which is ideal to lessen the noise. The salad with olives was excellent. My halibut was thick and of excellent quality, however, it was overcooked and dry. We also had the salmon which was moist... More

Always a different menu with lots of amazing dishes. I really enjoy the breakfast burritos, pastries, and coffee for breakfast/brunch. If you go in there between 9:45 and 10:20 it should be fairly easy to get a table. Its a smaller restaurant so tables are difficult. The only downside is trying to make a reservation for dinner. Sometimes they let... More
