I had the fried devil's club in chipolte sauce which sounded horrible but tasted fabulous. The soups and salads are very good. Portions are filling

Food was good, service was good but menu was a bit limited. We had lunch on a Saturday. Prices are about what you would expect in Alaska. From the description was expecting a bit more on the menu.

The food was good, but the menu was extremely lured. The information I read said sandwiches and my selection was a hamburger. Not really what I had wanted. The food was good but, even for Alaska prices, I thought a bit over priced. I did try the Mexican coke made without the corn syrup and it was Good. This was... More

Definitely visit the rookery... The food, especially the Scallops are great. The coffees are excellent, but if you like tea.. Their Earl Grey is the best (or try the London Fog). Highly recommended.

The Good - Love the berry muffins, they are crazy spendy but oh so good. The butter leaf salad, a lot of dressing but tasty. I love their croissants, and most of other the in-house baked goods. Been to a few of their themed dinners. It was a lively, casual, and fun experience. The trendy meals are a hit or... More

The atmosphere is very casual, and the service friendly and appropriate for the kind of restaurant it is. We shared an appetizer, had a bottle of wine, and two entrees for about $63, so the price point is very reasonable, and even more so given the quality of the food, which was quite good (but not really memorable). The only... More

Very good food, with a small menu and limited seating. A large family style table dominates the center with smaller tables along the wall. The food is high quality, but be prepared for a wait, especially if they are busy.

Lots of options on the menu, I had breakfast and lunch here on multiple days and it was always good. The breakfast buritto with tater tots in it is great. The coffee is good, and the cappuccions better.

Ate dinner here recently at suggestion of a local. Food was creatively prepared and my fish dish was delicious. Atmosphere is shabby chic cafe. I would eat here again and in fact recommended it to another traveler who I knew was coming through Juneau. Very good value for the price

We visited The Rookery Cafe for a hot chocolate and free wifi on a lazy afternoon. We ended up staying until 5ish when the cafe started transforming for dinner.
