I need the recipe for those fries!

We were able to make reservations for this restaurant on line which made me like it right up front! It had been recommended by friends who used to live in Juneau and they weren't wrong. I had the burger and as I've said in my former reviews-I am a burger snob. This was delicious. It was ground... read more

Reservation made for 3 people. Restaurant called to confirm. Promptly seated. Good service. Noisy environment. Food quality , taste and presentation were excellent. Tiny portions limited menu. No children's menu, no booster seats. Not child friendly. Overall average rating.

Eating at the Rookery is like an a good R.Kelly song - hard to find, but when you do it entices you, takes you away, and makes you fall in love. But really... The Rookery is THE spot to go for dinner if you're up for something different, dynamic, and fresh. Wine and beer selection is always on point and... More

The prices are fine-dining style, but the food is served in funky dishes and just isn't very good. I enjoyed the roast brussel sprouts last time, until I found a hair in it. The waiter wasn't apologetic or even very concerned. Ew.

Eating at the Rookery is always an experience. The food is a work of art and is complimented by the local art on the walls. The atmosphere is always lively and the staff are pleasantly enthusiastic. If I had to complain about one thing it will be the saltiness of their bacon burger. It is indeed delicious, but is not... More

Simple, fresh-ingredient based fare with fresh been on tap. Can't beat it. Limited menu but very good for what they focus on--sandwiches, salads, soups and burgers. Seating is at shared tables. Within walking distance of the waterfront and based in downtown Juneau, Alaska. Don't take yourself too seriously if you take advantage of this spot for good, old fashioned comfort... More

Had dinner here with a large group and they accommodated us very well. Service was prompt despite the many orders and special requests. Cost for value was reasonable. Best were the range of option - lots of creative and interesting dishes I've never seen elsewhere, including some that are only for adventurous foodies, but also a few standards like Caesar... More

I've eaten here twice, both times were great. Service was quick attentive and friendly. Food is great and different as well. Pretty good wine by the glass choices for a small town. I will definitely go back.

Loved this place. Super busy, had to wait a little bit for a table but it was totally worth it. They were out of the scallop app I ordered, but had the ham board (with coffee-infused mustard, whaaaat? Delicious beyond belief), fondue, and beet salad. Everything was amazing. Wine list needs some love, and I HATE the stupid little wine... More
