Heard this was a great local spot, and judging from the people their it is. Very good service and food. Felt like a nice local hangout. I had the eggs and bacon breakfast, very good. There could be a line to get in, be patient, enjoy the area.

Breakfast at the Sandpiper was a real treat. There were lots of great sounding dishes on the menu and everything was fresh and tasty. My vegetable omelet was loaded with sauteed veggies and cheese. Delicious! Our friends who live in the area confirmed that it's one of the best restaurants in town. Wish we had made it back there for... More

Nice cafe with a great selection of breakfast meny. I tried the Salmon omelet and salmon egg benedict. Both were great.

Only ate here once, and it was hard to choose among the many inviting breakfast selections. I can vouch for the French toast with greek yogurt and berries compote. It can be crowded and have to wait for a table, but worth it.

We loved it! The room is cozy and charming; the service is welcoming and fast; the menu is very ambitious. The breakfasts were wonderful. The ricotta pancakes with blueberries were truly memorable. The Italian sausage was a nice change from breakfast links. Yukon potatoes were very nice. Juneau newspapers are provided to the guests for lingering over coffee. This is... More

I've been traveling to Juneau for years on business and this trip had the pleasure of taking my wife and had breakfast at the Sandpiper. The menu looks like a typical breakfast cafe but the manner the food is prepared and the quality makes this a must for folks visiting Juneau. I'll be back whenever I'm in town.

This is right next to the Driftwood Hotel and is open for breakfast and lunch. It can often have a line as the food is so good. The breakfast is unbelievable. Have a meal here for sure if you're in Juneau!

We read about the Sandpiper on yelp and tripadvisor & we were not disappointed! We were there for brunch. The Salmon Eggs Benedict and the Elk Burger were both delicious. The service was also fantastic.

Found this cafe via Tripadvisor and decided to try it since it is just beside Driftwood Lodge where we stayed for 1 night. Fantastic breakfast selection and great in taste. It got us so hooked that we returned for 2 more times (even though we moved to stay at another hotel outside downtown Juneau). The bacon, sausage (patty) and hash... More

Well worth the wait, we made our breakfast a brunch and certainly kept us going till in the evening. Generous portions, fresh and delicious ingredients and bread. No wonder there was a waiting line
