If you want breakfast in Juneau, this is THE place to go!

Amazing, amazing, delicious pastries and baked goods. Don't let the outside fool you. This place is utterly charming, warm and wonderful inside. We also had a couple of breakfast sandwiches made from a scone like biscuit, which was deliciously seasoned and just the right mount... More

…but a lot de-lish. This is a must while visiting family. The breakfast sandwich. I didn't like the pizza so much. Just reheated in microwave with a piece of bacon thrown on top. Get the sandwich instead. Pastries were all excellent.

Imagine rolling out of your tent at Mendenhall Campground within view of the glacier and taking a short drive to perfect coffee, pastries, and frittatas in a cafe with cowboy-in-Paris decor. It's all there just waiting in Juneau's Mendenhall Valley. While we were lingering over our lovely frittata and rosemary focaccia with scrambled eggs--both accompanied by melon chunks, strawberries, and... More

The entre came out so fast that I had no time to fast, but this may have been because when I asked them to bring out whatever they were most proud of at the moment , they almost served me the vegetarian quiche...... Suddenly, someone spotted me as being from Skagway and the dish came out with bacon involved! It... More

Fabulous blueberry scones, mouthwatering pies, and cakes. But don't forget the sandwiches! Try the chicken pesto panini with pepper jack cheese with a refreshing glass of cranberry-raspberry juice. You'll be too full for dessert, but be sure to get something to go for later. Cozy environment small tables and chairs, cool and quirky decor. The sandwiches always come with a... More

Great food -- the owner is a Cordon Bleu trained chef. Natural, organic ingredients. It's now located in the valley, not downtown by the tour ship dock (where it was originally located). Excellent food, friendly service! Nice, somewhat off-beat atmosphere! A locals place! Tourists and visitors welcome.

Best in Pies and cakes and pastries, hands down. Incredible food & drink in an out of the way location. Search for it. It really is Paradise found. Friendly and sociable place to relax.

The Paradise is quirky, fun and full of local workers. Near the airport, it draws in helicopter pilots, students, airport workers and everyone who likes great desserts. They have several kinds of grilled sandwiches - I had the tomato pesto, and it was lovely - but the big draw is the huge variety of pastries and cookies temptingly displayed as... More

It was a bit confusing figuring out what was being sold and where to go to purchase it, but the menu looked very tempting. Unfortunately, while the idea of the sandwich I ordered was brilliant, the components fought instead of complimenting each other - to the point where I couldn't even taste two of the five components that were listed.... The small, but well-decorated cabin is warm, clean and welcoming. The lunch specials are delicious - Half an avocado piled high with Curry Chicken, Paninis, beautiful fresh salads.... but best of all are the fabulous bakery goods.
