Best salmon meal I've ever had!

The claim in the title of my review is a big one. We're Alaskans that rarely eat salmon we did not catch ourselves. The winter King salmon dish with linguine was perfection! Great service too!

IF you like sitting bayside looking out your window looking for killer whales, eagles or just gazing at the beautiful scenery. Grab a window seat at this restaurant and enjoy your food which has been great each time I eat there. The location is great and so is the food

It all looked delicious. I recommend the Land's End eggs Benedict or smoked salmon and goat cheese salad with a lemon vinegarette. I'm not normally AA goat cheese person but this had a wonderfully creamy, buttery flavor and texture.

Thank you for choosing our Chart Room restaurant and for taking the time to post. Our brunch menu has become very popular. The Land's End Benedict is my second favorite right behind the Vanilla-Rum French Toast and right in front of the Chorizo & Black Bean Migas. More

I swore off this place a few years ago. But limited dinner options in Jan in Homer had us there with company in from Canada. Blackened rockfish was dry and was cooked in way too much oil. It actually tasted like chicken. Over a bed of what looked and tasted like breakfast square potatoes. There was likely a sweet chili... More

If you don't expect much from the food or the service you will still enjoy the view. There are few places in the world where you can eat a sandwich and watch for otters.

Thank you for choosing our Chart Room restaurant and for taking the time to respond. It is true, the setting and view from our location is phenomenal. However, we do also strive for excellence in our kitchen. We consistently receive excellent responses on our surveys that we place with the bill for our restaurant guests, and due to that fact... Land's End has always been known for it's bar. The drinks are great and the wait staff-esp. Liz-terrific. Too bad the food doesn't measure up. Although the burgers are pretty good. In a place with so much abundance from the sea you can pretty much count on the fish being overcooked and the price you pay astronomical.

Ordered the meatloaf. It was old and rock hard. Then we had food poisoning for the next 24 hours. The good view is not worth it.

We have spent considerable time attempting to identify a complaint received in our restaurant or to our managers and have found no record of your visit or complaint, or even a negative complaint on our internal, confidential customer survey that comes with each meal bill. I brought two guests visiting from the Ukraine for lunch, but we arrived after traditional lunch hours and were restricted to the bar menu only. I chose the Cod fish & chips since I had Halibut the day before and was pleased with the quality of the fish and a decent serving of fries with some excellent tartar sauce. My... More
