The food was very good. However, it was cold. The restaurant is too crowded. It probably would be better if fewer tables were in the dining room. The waitresses are too busy. It is impossible to keep up with the crowd. It is very expensive.

I had been wanting fresh Pan Fried Oysters for some time and thought Captain Patties would be the best place to get them. At 2:00pm, "Sorry, we are out of oysters"... WHAT?!? "We have Oysters in the Half Shell" - Raw, no thank you! "We have Oysters Rockefeller" - No thank you. Can you Pan Fry those? "No we can't".... More

My official first time ever in my life trying halibut! I am so glad I waiting until we visited Captain Patties! The fish was as fresh as it could get! I ordered it grilled and was so happy with it! Our server was great, a little pricey but this makes for a true date night.

This was recommended by a local, was very good. I had the scallops and shrimp grilled and my husband had the seafood sampler. We went early which was good as people were lined up when we left. Food was very excellent and staff were very attentive. It is a bit pricey but no more than any other place in Alaska.

We stop by for lunch on our last day in Homer. The food was bland. My husband had the chowder (patty's famous clam choweder cup), the sea sampler (a fried selection of seafood) I had the salmon sandwich. The size of everything was beyond small, more like an appetizers size. The prize were not. But that wasn't even what we... More

Great seafood in a great location on the Spit. Seafood chowder was awesome and grilled halibut was just about perfect. Great service and friendly staff. Highly recommend but be prepared to wait if no reservation as fairly small.

We had a lovely dinner-- fresh halibut, oysters, and smoked salmon. Lovely staff, nice vibe to the room. Our neighboring diners had brought in the halibut they'd caught and offered to share it. A really nice evening.

A little pricey but very good food. Didn't have reservations but didn't have to wait long to be seated. Friendly staff and great service.

After our halibut fishing charter, we brought some of the day's catch to the restaurant and they cooked it right up. We loved it and would definitely recommend it to others. Worth the wait!
