We had a lunch here and while the food was fairly good, it was somewhat on an expensive side for what it was. Service was excellent. This place consistently gets crowded so either call ahead or prepare to wait for 30-40mins

Captain Patties Fish House offer a set of delicious sea food choices. However, the service is slow and the attitude of the staff is less than ideal. Besides, they have a problem with capacity in the kitchen. They appear unable to keep up with the amount of orders or perhaps the staff is simple unable to keep track of the... More

In 2015 we visited the area for the third time. In previous visits this was our favorite restaurant. That changed this year. They expanded the dining room and lost its ambiance and level of service. I had a bowl of the clam chowder and became very sick to the point that I will never visit this restaurant again.

The Clam Chowder is to die for! I honestly think it was the best clam chowder I have ever eaten. We ordered a couple of sandwiches which were okay at best and kind of pricey but the chowder made up for it. The dining are overlooks the bay and the view is fantastic! So my advice is to order the... More

Our B&B hosts recommended this restaurant, and we were quite happy with it. The food was good, and the service friendly. I ordered the King Crab legs, and they were delicious. It is out on the spit, so you probably need a car to get there easily.

My husband and I had dinner at this highly recommended restaurant located on the Spit on 7/30/15. The seafood we ordered was all great and tasted very fresh. The food is simply prepared to let the true flavor come through. To start-Kachemak Bay oysters. I had read you must order this if it's on the menu at any restaurant in... More

My wife frankly does not like seafood but we loved this place. We sat on the porch which was recently enclosed and offered the best views of the water and mountains. The fish was fresh and the portions were extremely generous. The staff was very pleasant and the were extremely attentive. It was a great experience and no doubt we... More

Captain Pattie's will not disappoint. They feature fresh, local seafood and know how to prepare it. The portions are big too! I love to bring in fish that I caught that day. They prepare it baked, tempura fried and/or broiled, all very good. I usually have enough left over for a take home meal. Also they have wide windows overlooking... More
