I go to Homer Alaska often and always stop in at the Sourdough Express. The staff are so accomodating and the food is excellent. It is organic and mostly local. The seafood is the best. Actually it is all so delicious. Can't wait to visit them again. more

Our bear viewing guide recommended Fresh Sourdough Express because it had on-line ordering. We could order on-line well ahead of our trip and it would be ready the morning of our early departure. The food was good. The problem was that despite the fact that their sign said they open at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast, we were left waiting on the porch until 7:30. The best French toast I have ever had. It was simply delicious. The owners were super friendly and took time to come chat with us. The service was good, the atmosphere was great, and the food was awesome. Also try the black bean soup for dinner. Homemade and soooo good. more
