This small out of the cafe is it the boatyard entrance which might be hard to find for tourists. So do yourself a favor and do whatever it takes to find it, ask a local or ? The food is great priced very well, I had the big boatyard burger, they made a burger that was really big and would... More

$25 fish basket was really good. The homemade tartar sauce was incredible. The restaurant is off the beaten path. It is kind of weird that there was no restroom or sink to wash hands. Bring hand sanitizer! Worth it

Had the fried clams and they were cooked perfectly...Usually, restaurants overcook them. Not here, the coffee is the bomb as well...

As you can see the reviews here are from locals (me included). If you want to eat off the beaten path in an actual working boat yard and get the best burgers in town, eat here. I'm stuck on the Patty Melt. Whenever I get a Patty Melt anyplace else I compare it to the one here, this is the... More

The Boatyard Cafe is our favorite place to go when the urge for a delicious hamburger (best ones in Homer!) or homemade milkshake strikes our family... There is a great selection of burger types, which can be accompanied by a generous helping of fries (or yummy onion rings). The shrimp basket has such large portions that we usually share this... The staff seemed cold. Atmosphere and location are nothing special. Food was ok, but pricey. Tried the cafe several times as I had heard good things about it.

They are great for hamburgers and are located at the east end of Kachemak Drive in Homer within a boatyard.

The mighty Boatyard Burger. If you are looking for something off the beaten path where locals eat, this is it. The Boatyard Burger is a nice fat double with bacon, mushrooms, cheese... You know what I'm going to stop writing this review and go eat one right now.
