The food was average but our server was attentive & friendly. The Happy Face is located right next to the Salty Dawg Saloon. After we ate, we walked next door & checked out the Salty Dawg.

A family member lives here and took us to the Happy Face for a quick lunch. It was cool, windy and raining yet busy for a late afternoon. Re-met some locals here. You will have to climb a set of stairs to the second floor so be aware. Parking is somewhat limited too. While it is on the Spit, it... More

Wife and I were underwhelmed by the quality of the food. My dish tasted like it had plastic shavings in it, and hers was a thin, runny-sauce chicken dish. We ate as much as we could stomach, and didn't take a doggie bag. We haven't returned since, and won't.

We decided to pop in for a late lunch after shopping and walking around the Split. The restaurant's location is in the center of the Split hustle and bustle. The halibut fish and chips were average, as was the "touresty" price. The decor is lacking but the friendliness of the waitress was appreciated. Happy travels!

After our later than expected arrival in Homer we struggled to find a dining option. Even though the restaurant was close to closing we were welcomed in, seated and served a very satisfying meal. We felt the prices were very fair and food good!

If you are looking for a good meal at a decent price then Happy Face is a good option. If you are looking for decor and a dining experience, look elsewhere.

I loved their halibut fish & chips. Tasted great, prices were good and the waitress was a plus. I have recommend them to everyone I know that is heading to Homer.
