Very nice Restaurant, a little bit out of town. The food was very good - we went there two times in a row, because we liked it so much. One evening I had the Alaskan King Crab Legs - they were the biggest ones I had ever seen. Very fresh and great taste. The second evening fresh salmon - which... More

We try to avoid going there as much as possible since we are locals. But we have some family members who insist only because it is close enough to their house that they think the Troopers won't catch them on the way home after a couple glasses of wine.. We usually eat before we go there since the plate loads... More

Everything at Homestead was excellent - the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the view. If you're in Homer, don't miss the opportunity to eat here!

We found this reastaurant on Trip Advisor before we left home. We called and made a reservation from our hotel. They are quite a ways out of town, but we got to see more of Homer, so the ride was interesting. We had a bottle wine and tthe salmon special. Service was very good, wait time was fine and meal... We had dinner here and the view was gorgeous, the food was excellent but the service was poor. We did not order any wine and I felt like the waitress was more interested in serving those who ordered wine because she would be getting a better tip. Our bill was still $109.00 with only water to drink. It was a... More

We had read about this restaurant on Tripadvisor so we decided to try it. It is 8.5 miles from town and it takes about 15 minutes to drive out there from the middle of town. It is worth the drive. We arrived without a reservation but were able to be seated without any trouble. They specialize in Alaska products such... More

Lacy curtains, a fine view of the Kachemak Bay, a surprising wine list, and excellent cuisine combine to make the 20 minute drive from downtown Homer worth it. The service was excellent, and the cioppino, and the fish cakes were both delicious. Save room for homemade desserts. Chocolate decadence was…decadent.

From the beginning: the guy taking reservations over the phone was nice. We got there and realized that while trying to be fine dining, the place is very outdated... even for Alaska. Old carpet, old furniture, old wall hangings, and lace covered half the windows (blocking the gorgeous view). Just when we began to wonder if we had a waitress,... More

We had a very interesting evening~The power went out on the entire Homer peninsula at just about dinner time! We stopped into the restaurant, but they said their ovens weren't up and running, so we went back after the power came on~about 8:00p.m. They were so welcoming and even though they didn't have all of the items on the menu,...
