Really fresh fish well prepared. Not haute cuisine, by any means, but very tasty and in a nice location on the Spit with good views from some tables.

We love to visit this restaurant whenever we are on the Spit in Homer. Fresh fish, well fried (not soggy, stinky, bitter or burned--ever!), and friendly service. One of the better views on the Spit, and the menu has more than just fried fish and chips. We usually find ourselves finishing our meal with one of their delicious shakes--don't pass... More

The Boardwalk Fish & Chips café (on the Homer Spit) is one of the best places to eat fresh local halibut in Homer. They serve this tasty food in a unique fashion (on a stick), and the view of the Kachemak Bay waters (from the dining area) is really great too. We were pleased to see that an excellent local... Fabulous halibut fish and chips. It was fresh, batter was light, rest of meal was fine, but the halibut is what we came for and we were not disappointed.

Bring your credit card. This place is no bargain but when in Rome, you have to eat fried halibut with a side of fries. The calamari was pretty good too! Enjoyed local beers on tap. At the end of the Spit, it offers a nice view with (warm and wind free) indoor seating!

The fish was fab yet I don't understand why it was so pricey if it's the local industry! Still, ya gotta go! Sit outside on one of the picnic tables or inside by the window. People watch or bay watch. Can't go wrong.
