We had plans to eat at Cosmic Kitchen up the road but as usual they were closed, and we ran across this place. SO happy we did. I had the pancake breakfast, my brother and our buddy had French Toast, and we were all very pleased with the food. The guy who waited on us acted like one of the... More

Came here for breakfast and the food was good. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals. Took us a while to get seated, was asked 3 times how many was in our party. Despite their only being 2 of us we had to wait for them to clear room and seat a larger party. Even though there were several... More

We ate breakfast here every morning we were in Homer. The waiters were great. Service was good. The French Toast and the sausage were the best. The staff was knowledgeable about the area and also gave us a recommendation for dinner to the Homestead House. We really did enjoy going in there every morning. One thing though were asked if... There were a few people waiting outside when we arrived at about 1pm. We went inside and found no-one waiting inside. The sign said, "Wait to be seated." We stood there for about 5 minutes before we were even greeted. When we were greeted, we were simply asked, "How many?" We said, 3 and a baby. No response. After another... More

We found this place to be fast, with friendly staff and good food. We did have to keep asking the staff member to come back with coffee, which got tiresome, but the experience was good enough to make up for that.

Oh my goodness....have they ever heard of a duster? This place was decorated with an inch of dust! And I'm not a picky clean freak either. Must say, the food was good though.

No trip to Homer is complete without Duncan House for breakfast at LEAST once! Great cozy, local decor; cool antiques with a bit of a retro diner feel in there. So friendly, fast, very kid-friendly (crayons and paper on hand and a kid's menu), very reasonable prices. I try something new every time we go and I haven't been let... More
