Just like your old hometown diner

We had a good time at breakfast this morning at the Duncan House. Feels like the diners we grew up with. Great coffee. Fair prices. Fine service.

I was visiting family in Homer for a graduation this month. We ate breakfast twice at Duncan House. It was a very nice experience both times. The food was excellent as was the service. Try the reindeer sausage! The owner even waited tables. Enjoy.

Five of my siblings and I were in Homer, Alaska, August of 2011. We were there for two days and three nights. We opted for fast food for breakfast and lunch. We were disappointed in Homer dinner restaurants until the morning we left. An elderly local recommended Huncan House at 125 E. Pioneer Ave. Went there for breakfast on our... More

It was a great place for breakfast. Not fancy, but clean and great food. Lots of memories as I trolled thru the antiques on the wall and on the tables. The tables all have different salt and pepper shakers. Just a cute down home place with a great breakfast. Serving sizes were good and service was timely. I would recommend... More

Great food for the money, good service and very fair prices. This place is not open much of the time but if it is when you are in Homer give it a try.

The place is a little family-owned business that is very cozy and has a personal touch to it. The place offers ONLY BREAKFAST and LUNCH, no dinner, open from 7 am till 2 pm only even through high tourist season. The food is very high quality but if you are in a hurry might not be ideal: breakfast even on... More

Consistently okay food. Good for breakfast if you want to eat at a family friendly and unpretentious but still sweet place. I love the variety of salt and pepper shakers and mid century ambiance.

This is a great restaurant, with food that always is very good. It's a wonderful place to start your day, and it has a large selection of breakfast items. Lunch is very good, too. The owner and staff are attentive, friendly, and cheerful. I recommend Duncan House highly and with no reservations. Try the Spanish Omelet - really yummy!

Breakfast is served here till closing. Their staff is friendly, and food quality excellent. DH menu has something for everyone. You can't go wrong here, another local favorite.
