So glad we chose this restaurant, it was recommended to us by the ladies in the Salty Girl shop. I had the dish with red curry, salmon & halibut, my serving was huge, therefore I could bring home my lunch for the next day. Served hot and perfectly seasoned with fresh ingredients. So good!

It was so delicious we went here twice. We had the king crab halibut risotto, the mussels with chili lime kafir coconut milk and black bean rockfish soup. The flavors were great without being overpowering. My dad had the ribeye with king crab legs and mentioned that the steak was good. I think what they are really doing the best... More

This is a classy place on the Homer Spit. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge portion sizes. My ceasar salad was classically made and the anchovies on top, super fresh but it was huge so good size for two people. I wanted something with a mix of all of the in season seafood and was thrilled with the seafood... More

Went for lunch and then went back for dinner. This chef knows how to prepare seafood - especially salmon and halibut. TheThai inspired preparations are out of this world - lots of fresh veggies and the sauces.....best mussels ever! The herb crusted salmon with mussels and clams in miso and the king crab risotto with halibut - perfection. Lovely ambiance... More

From what we've seen so far of Alaska cuisine this might be worth four stars on a relative scale. Good beers on tap (if you don't like hoppy beers the Homer Brewery lager is very good) and a handful of drinkable wines. At 7:30 they were out of the peel and eat shrimp but had most everything else. Salads were... More

After my previous dinner experience at another establishment, I was hoping for something more "local" than a burger. Upon a recommendation from another traveler from my Bear trip, I went to Fresh Catch and had their Salmon & Halibut Red Curry. It was very good and perfect after a long day of bear viewing and flight seeing. It had lots... More

We got a recommendation to eat here from a local. Great advice! We were getting a little tired of seafood and both opted for the duck noodle soup. Delicious! Maybe the best dish we had during our stay in Alaska. Definitely worth a try.

we asked our B and B host who had the "best" fish and chips in Homer and he was RIGHT the breading was just enough, the fish was superbly flaky and fresh and not overcooked and the fries were perfect. Service is superb. View is wonderful.

We tried this restaurant for both lunch and dinner and were impressed both times. Many restaurants in the Kenai Peninsula have salmon and halibut on the menu, but we found it to be dry in one restaurant; bland in another. Fresh Catch Cafe did both perfectly. The fish was firm but moist. The flavors were clear while still allowing the... More
