Wow!

Don't let the facade fool you. This is an awesome place to eat. Neat, clean, just classy enough for vacationers, friendly staff. Great food, great place.

Fettuccine was excellent but at $35 to sit in a cafe, and be in and out in the hour is grossly over priced - no atmosphere at all, like a chip shop I had fish and chips, 4 pieces of halibut each very thin and covered in a tasty breadcrumb mix, but so thin I couldn't taste the fish it... More

located on the Homer Spit, this is the best place for Fish & Chips and the most reasonable price in town! And this is a high end seafood restaurant, with an amazing owner/chef running the show! The entries are all culinary delights that will please your palate and you will understand why Homer is not only the Halibut Capitol of... More

The risotto with salmon is one I will not soon forget - great meal in a great location. Nice beer selection, and delicious seafood.

Par of our tour to Alaska took us to Homer, which is a water front village, where a large amount of fishing in Alaska takes place. The Fresh Catch cafe is on the waterfront on a pier. The food is as fresh as you can imagine. We enjoyed a beautiful meal with our friends from the Cruise Ship. The fish... More

From the outside this does not look worth visiting but do it is fantastic. This was my favourite restaurant in Homer. The view, the staff, the beer, the food were all brilliant. Everywhere in Homer the seafood is fresh, but here it seemed to taste just that little bit better. Value for money was also very good being approx 15%... More

When we got back from our day at Kachemak Bay State Park, the usual Halibut and chips places were already filling up. A local businessman on the spit recommended Fresh Catch as an alternative. We were a little apprehensive since the place was nearly empy when we arrived, but soon filled to capacity. Obviously, the seafood in the recipies were... More

Definitely one of the freshest seafood meals of my lifetime! I had halibut and salmon seared over a king crab risotto for 38$. It was well with it for this incredible meal! Fish cooked to perfection, juicy with a light crunch on the crust. Delicate flavones all working together, food swoon!!

During our vacation in Homer we wanted to have dinner at the "spit". We made no reservation, so we ended up with long waiting time. We looked for an alternative and found the Fresh Catch Cafe only a few minutes away. What a positive surprise. Food was delicious. Basicly one of the best food on our whole three weeks trip.... Fresh Catch Cafe was a nice change to all of the other fresh halibut and salmon we had been eating on vacation. They put a modern twist on seafood, which was delicious and refreshing!
