We headed down to the Boardwalk Bakery on the Spit to grab breakfast and get some box lunches for our bear watching trip. They have TERRIFIC breakfast burritos – I had the sausage, egg & cheese. We also got ham and cheese sandwiches on ciabatta bread, chips and fresh baked cookies - chocolate chip and Snickerdoodle! Friendly folks and great... More

I had a small sandwich that was expensive for what you got. Had to buy something else in order to use my credit card, so I bought a pecan bar that was ok, too sweet and runny. Not bad, but there is a much better bakery and a much better deli in town.

We ordered a bagged lunch for an outing. The sandwich and cookie were excellent and filling. The bakery also has great muffins and cinnamon rolls.

The food was ok, and the service quite friendly. I stopped in to grab food before a fishing trip, as it is the only place open on the Spit at 6am! The price was a tad high, but I figure it includes a convenience fee for being open when it was, and we needed coffee and box lunches.

We ate breakfast here on our first morning in Homer. The homemade biscuits used in the breakfast sandwiches were incredible! So good in fact, that we ordered breakfast AND lunch to take halibut fishing with us the next morning. The woman who helped us (one of the owners) was delightful and she introduced my husband to the joys of reindeer... More

These ladies are Texas friendly and the best bakers ever. This was our second trip to Homer and would not even consider not stopping in to visit and grab a sandwich or fresh baked cinnamon rolls along with many other goodies. This, in our opinion, is the best bakery in Homer. Their chicken salad is to die for! But then,... More

The Boardwalk Bakery is one of our must-visit stops when we visit the Homer Spit. The ladies who operate and prepare the delicious foods there are really friendly, and will accommodate request for custom orders too. Everything is freshly-made and tasty (they offer both sweet and savory items); they also make yummy lunches-to-go, if you are headed out on a... More

We luckily found this place after we being ignored and leaving Sourdough Express down the road. What luck for us! These are the best cinn rolls I have EVER had. Hot out the oven. WOW. My husband's breakfast panini on homemade focaccia bread was amazing. Just go!!

Went here for bag lunches to take on a day trip, based on excellent Tripadvisor ranking. Sandwiches and cookies were decent, but the prices are way too high. Try Two Sisters instead.

Really?? I am shocked and amazed at your review. You would pay $600 to go bear watching but balk at a gourmet lunch for $12? Our prices are clearly visible on printed material, on the menu outside our window and on our menu board inside. If you didn't want to pay $12, why did you order? I take great offensive... More
