Best Bakery on the Homer Spit

This cute small bakery is a family favorite for the best baked goods on the Homer Spit. We live in Homer and regularly enjoy the cinnamon rolls and lunch sandwiches.

It doesn't take long to figure out that living requires more work in Alaska. We camped for 2 rainy nights in Denali, and Boardwalk was a a very welcome respite in the mornings. The food was good, the coffee and tea were good, and the opportunity to hang out inside for a bit was great! Nice folks, fun eavesdropping.

We are so glad that we could provide a little shelter and good food for you on your Alaska trip. Camping in a tent in Alaska is fun, but dining at Boardwalk Bakery is fun too, without the outside elements. And you never know what you might see or hear!!! Thank you for your nice review. More

Call your order in before 7 the night before your fishing charter and you can pick it up before you hit the boat! This was the only place I wanted breakfast - the paninis were delicious and it was perfect to sit on my balcony in the hotel with my panini and watch the whales!

Thank you for the nice review. We are so happy that you enjoyed our little bakery. We do get many raves over that breakfast panini. It makes a difference when everything is made from scratch. We hope to see you again on your next trip to Homer. The whales want you back too!! More

Two sisters operate this spot on the spit during the summer season. Their baked pastries are amazing, melt in your mouth good! Get there early for food as they sell out and close early.

We were just driving around Homer looking for a place to have breakfast and found this place at the "spit". My husband and I, as well as my children (12 and 14 year old) loved the paninis, they were delicious. The owners are two very nice ladies. The place is small, there are just two tables to have breakfast, but... More

Call Boardwalk and order. Our bagged lunches were enjoyed on a busy fishing boat later in the day but everything was fresh and delicious. Nice job!

Great little bakery owned by a transplanted Texas lady. Offerings are exceptional, and portions large. Can get busy early with outbound Halibut fisherman around 5:30. If you have time sit and eat a pastry, and enjoy a great cup of coffee with two great lady's
