Was so disappointed to find that Crabbies had closed. Had been in Homer 2 years ago and had dinner here 3 times. Food was great, personnel very friendly, service was good, prices were comparable.

We had amazing food and even better service! The chowder was to die for! Our entire meal was well above our expectations, and for AK not terribly expensive. We would go back. The atmosphere was fun and 'fishy', heavily decorated, and just plain fun. The best part, however was the quality of the dinner, which we found to be superb. Remember:... More

Years ago, under another name they had the best hambuger in town... Now you pay a lot for very little. There is not one window in the place, even though it is on a second floor.

We went to an early dinner and there was only our table and one other group. The hostess was friendly and the place was cute, but dark. The food was really good, but probably overpriced and pretty small portions. When it was time for the check it was split into two and the waitress had placed various items on each... More

We stopped in here just 2 weeks ago, OCT 6 2012. Watch out! First, the place is dark, filled with fish nets, lacks light and windows. The menu and the waitress claim the place is fine dining and 5 course, please, it is anything but. The prices are fine prices, (JACKED UP), and the food is average at best. HINT... More

When I was in Homer with my wife we were told about this place. Supposedly they had good seafood here. I must say we never found out. My wife and I walked and were just about to be seated until the hostess was snapped at and told the ringing phone of the supposed finer dining resaurant was more important than... More

Really enjoyed our lunch here, absolutely no view, pretty dark, but they have fixed it up cute with lots of visual interest on the walls and ceiling, including a mermaid! Good food, and friendly service!

We are a young couple traveling Alaska and we were looking for fair value and good crab meal. The restaurant looks cheap and run down from outside ... but we thought we gave it a chance, since it's not on " the Spit "area, which is the touristic area in Homer. Jackie -the Owner- claimed she had the best and... More

Was looking forwrd to a good seafood dinner. Boy was I suprised. The prices were so high my friend went with a hamburger. It was so small he thought it was a Happy meal with no toy, $ 14.95 to boot! Battered shimp that I had was not battered but Panco deep fry, shrimp about $3.00 each. Small Baked potatoe,... More

The food was great, service excellent, atmosphere homey and other patrons nice to talk to. I would recommend Crabbies and take your time to check out what is on the walls
