We stayed at the Old Town Bed & Breakfast next door, and breakfast was arranged to be in Maura's tiny cafe next door. There's an imaginative menu with a variety of omelettes, bagels with lox, baked brie, fresh croissants and more usual stuff. You can also organise boxed meals for trips. All this with good coffee and cheerful ladies to... More

This is a true deli. I love their sandwiches, with lots of interesting vegetarian options. Limited seating is available, including a few outdoor seating. The service is not fast, like a NY deli, but with big sandwiches being hand made by a few employees, they are definitely worth the wait! Also, this place in NOT cheap. Within walking distance to... This place is good but spendy. The seating isn't adequate for parties larger than 3-4. They do have unique items and cheeses.

As a Homer resident I get to eat at Maura's quite a bit and it's always a culinary experience. Everything I've ever eaten there is top-notch and flavorful. The sandwiches are creative and delectable. Her soups are, hands down, the best Homer has to offer. No other chef has Maura's touch when it comes to the seasonings in those delicious... More

We ate breakfast at Maura's while staying across the street. I had the oatmeal. It was the best oatmeal ever. My husband had an omelet. He didn't enjoy it but it was his fault. He missed reading that it had feta cheese which he doesn't care for. I wanted to go back the next morning before we left Homer but... More

We have been to Maura's many times on many occasions...ALWAYS a great experience! The salads are simply amazing...colorful, crisp, fresh, organic...and can honestly say I've never had a better one anywhere else I've traveled. All the other offerings are amazing as well. The setting is like a little European cafe, with a Homeresque flair to it. The service is sharp,... More

Oh so good! We live in Kenai and wish we could transport Maura's there so we could go on a regular basis! Besides delicious food, the setting was perfect. My hubby had the Painted Lady (curried chicken) sandwich with pasta salad and I had the Stella Vera ( yummy veggies) topped with melted Brie and perfect roasted Roma tomatoes. I... More
