We had to try the caribou burger. It was not over cooked but no attempt made to make it special. The waitstaff was taping the flooring together while we ate!

This is a old dirty room in the bowling ally in Homer. The few times we were there the place was dirty and the service was poor. We will never return because of the condition of the carpet and the room itself. The food was ok and not over priced.

Food that sticks to your ribs is their flavor. Lots of it at a decent price. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Either location in Homer, or Soldotna are easy to find and a comfortable place to eat.

Food was average, menu had a lot of variety. This is a nice regular, run of the mill place to eat and you can always get a table. It is also open late!

We wanted a hot lunch at a sit down restaurant. We came across the Carbou. We both had a fish burger and fries. The sandwich left a lot to be desired. I guess this is a local spot, but would not recommend it to anyone.

Don't do it. Unless you're desperate and nothing else is open, as was the case for us. The server was very nice but the food was just terrible. When we returned to our B&B our hostess told us it was the worst place in town. But it was late, it was there and we were exhausted and hungry. My advice... More

Alaska Diner type food. Old, typical frozen in time AK restaurant. Good service. Nothing special, although you can get a decent meal.

We were referred to the Caribou Family Restaurant by the owners of our lodging. It was acceptable. The food was good and the portions were large but expensive for what you got. Typical breakfast meal was around $15. The place needs to be updated. It does look dark and worn. The staff were nice and our waitress was very attentive.... More

I do not recommend eating here, we've only been once and never gone back! The food is overpriced and service is slow.
