Rose's Café is in Healy. Lots of the local workers eat here and the atmosphere is comfy, casual. Local conversations can be very entertaining. The owners are very friendly and entertaining as well. Good choices on the menu, fairly priced, lower than the "touristy" places closer to the park entrance. The homemade pies are a great dessert.

I had a grilled tuna sandwich with fries for lunch. Well prepared meal and with prompt efficient service. Clean and tidy with many items on their brealfast, lunch and dinner menu.

I read reviews on this eating establishment before ever leaving home and knew I wanted to try it. I wasn't that impressed. I had the taco salad. The shell was greasy and the meat tasted very different. It was uncomfortable waiting for our meal because it was hot and there was no air stirring from the two small windows that... More

We were in Danali and the prices there are just nuts. Value is hard to find there. Up the road a bit in nearby Healy lies this cafe called Rose's. Rose and her husband are the owners. Others in the family work there. We ate there twice and enjoyed the food and the restaurant. It's nothing fancy but it's "down-home"... More

We came here for breakfast because of other reviews and its next door to the fantastic Motel Nord Haven where we stayed. I ordered the Denali omelette with home fries and the homemade sourdough bread. My hubs and had eggs, bacon, hash browns and a plate size pancake. We also got salsa which is homemade green goodness. The pancake was... More

We had a large group of 14 and they did a good job of accommodating us for an early dinner. All the food was good, especially the hamburgers. Prices were good for being in Healy. We'd come back. It's not fancy or trendy.

Rose's Cafe has been there a while serving good, staple food. As a truck driver I've eaten there more than dozens of times. It had been a while since my last trip up that way and I stopped, with my wife, and had brunch yesterday. It's still tops. I had a Denali omelet and it hit the my peaks -... More

If your hungry go to rose's. We decided tom eat here after seeing the prking full everyday. Forget the hustle and bustle of the gulch. Drive a little bit north to Rose's in Healy. The food is great and the breakfast is even better. It is always busy. The pancakes are of dinner plate size, Eggs cooked to order and... More
