Rose's Cafe has good food and large quantities, with fair prices. If you're staying at Totem it's a good place to eat breakfast. If you want to get away from the Canyon and pay a fair price try Rosie's. If you get a chance talk with Rosie she is quite the character.

It is along way from Fairbanks to Anchorage and every now and then it's nice to stop and get a meal as you drive the highway. I had passed Rose's Café many a time and had never stopped in sometime always in to big a hurry or usually just closed because I came thru late at night. The other day... More

Very friendly and hugh burger baskets. More fries than two of could eat. My wife was real low in her diabetic blood sugar and the owner knew just what to do. Thanks so much

We visited Rose's café earlier in October 2014 before a long hike in Denali. We thought the prices seemed slightly higher than what we are used to in Missouri (but everything in Alaska is pricier than Missouri). However, when our food came out we saw the portions were huge. The Denali omelet, toast with homemade jam, and fried potatoes with... More

We stopped at Rose's before heading into Denali National Park for the day. It was fairly expensive but most of the food in this area is. The breakfast was filling and good. The décor is a bit old and maybe could be updated. The coffee is typical restaurant coffee and not as good as a coffee shop.

Everything is very, very good about this place except the dirty grease trap odor, which is the only thing ever keeping me from coming back. With an investment in a couple of Arctic Air cleaners, this place would earn their fifth star.

Food was greatly over priced and there wasn't enough seating early in the morning. Coffee wasn't very good.

We first ate dinner at Rose's Café when arriving in Healy, AK for our stay to visit Denali Nat'l Park just after ON Season was over.. Mostly because we read the reviews here and so many said great things about this little café.. Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from, as the food was average, prices pretty... More

My family and I are visiting Alaska in late September. The farther north we travel, the more businesses are closed for the winter. We spoke to a local resident after seeing boarded up restaurant after restaurant, and they suggested Rose's. Was not expecting much. I was happily surprised by the quaint cafe and friendly service. The food was basic but... More
