We wanted a quick meal in between tours and popped in for fish and chips. Expensive but not for Alaska. Fish was fresh and tasty. We tired the Duck Fart shooters and decided to have another! Great quick meal right off Main Street.

My wife & I were on a cruise that stopped in Haines. We found this great seafood dive in town. We each had Halibut sandwiches. The piece of Halibut was as big as your fist & prepared to perfection. The place looked a throwback to the fifties with a pool table in the back & funny bumper stickers all over... More

We had the fish & chips which were very good but very pricey. Later we learned that if you go out by the water, Al's, which is in a trailer by the side of the road has fish & chips just as good for half the price (told to go there by a local).

Great place for an average diner breakfast, great fish n chips, and good music. Jukebox in bar has a fab selection of music.

We ate breakfast here before catching the ferry to Prince Rupert. The restaurant had very good choices and the menu and the food was excellent.

Not too inviting from the outside but once in the service was very friendly and the simple, freshly prepared food was very good and great value.

We though the service was good and friendly. The food was good and lot of local eat here. that's where we met John Schnabel that's on the t.v. show gold rush. He's just as nice as he is on t.v. Also the restaurant is clean and in good location. Try for yourself. WE were here for breakfast and dinner.

My hubby and I shared the fish and chips for lunch. We both enjoyed it and would return if we are in the area again.

Like most of the places we've eaten in the area, this place was over priced for poor service and so-so food. The fish and chips were good but the seafood Cesar salad only had a few pieces of seafood in it, was not a good Cesar recipe and was overpriced at $26. Pretty disappointed.

What a fun find in the little village of Haines. We found the place through the recommendation of a local. We were a group of nine and we all really enjoyed our lunch. The charred halibut sandwich was pretty good. The smiley fries were disappointing though. The atmosphere of the place is great. Careful about ringing the bell.... It could... More
