Go-to place for lunch

Since other places in town are not always open for lunch, this became our go-to place for Inch and a beer. Great salmon, nice harbor view, and local microbrews on tap.

Food was tasty and the service was friendly. Our gluten free traveller was able to find something to eat.

I ordered a salad as as a main course and when and hour later it hadn't been delivered, I cancelled it and left. They did bring me the iced tea that I ordered to have with the salad and had the nerve to charge me for it after that 1 hour wait!

Snagged a seat by the window and enjoyed the view as well as the food! Wait staff was pleasant and efficient and food delicious.

The family and I went to have dinner. From the outside it seemed like a good establishment, even has a great view. We went in and were told to sit where ever we wanted. The waitress had a very sour look upon her face and seemed perturbed to have more customers coming in. We sat ourselves and enjoyed the view... More

Being from New York City, it's easy to be a food snob and make wrong assumptions about the fare offered in small towns. We randomly wandered into the Lighthouse for a late lunch on a very rainy day - not expecting much from this unassuming little local place. . To our surprise, the food really was excellent - not only... More

A group of 4 of us from Whitehorse were in Haines for the weekend and decided to go here for lunch. There were a few other tables, not busy by any means, and we were completely ignored. The server walked around our table and served everyone around us. This isn't the first time I've heard of this here, a group... More

Wife ordered fish tacos but we couldn't find the fish?? I had deep fried chicken and it was severely overcooked. Very disappointed!

Food tastes terrible! I had fish and chips. They managed to get the grease inside and it tasted gross. the chips were below average. My wife had a steak. Her "baked" potato was microwaved. Gross! I overheard a lady returning the coffee, saying that it tasted horrible. The waitresses didn't know what they are doing, but they did try to... More
