Try the Bouillabaisse

Great anniversary dinner here. Try the Bouillabaisse -- a tasty tomato broth with the usual array of shellfish, salmon, and halibut. But king crab is the focal point.

I ordered the steak and was not impressed at all! The Thai curry veggie dish my husband ordered was great though! Also the Caesar Salad was really dry to us. If we ever ate here again, I would stick to seafood and veggie. Our waitress was great though- she was super sweet and accommodating.

Maybe we just went on the wrong day. The waitress did her best but she was so, so busy. Items were quite expensive and portions were small. It was good, but after reading other reviews, I expected more. My cioppino was quite good, but I've never had such a small portion.

We were at the end of a long excursion day, headed back to the resort and what a find, off the beaten path in Girdwood! The service was fair but the food was exceptional; fare that you would expect to find in a big city's fine dining restaurant.

In the culinary wasteland of Alaska there lies an oasis of deliciousness in the most unsuspecting of places. I've been all over the state from Fairbanks to Ketchikan and Jack Sprat is by far the best dining experience I've had. My dining companions ordered the halibut even after we went fishing and caught and ate our own the day before... More

We were expecting great things from previous reviews but were disappointed. Service that night was slow and our server seemed rather detached with very little enthusiasm. We thought the dishes were way overpriced, though they were all quite good. Duck breast meal portion was very small, bread plate at $6.50 was ridiculous for maybe 4-5 slices of bread. I wanted... Our experience was delightful. Our waiter was very attentive and on task. Very knowledgable of the menu and was helpful in our selection. We had 4 of us in our party. Didn't want leftovers so he suggested getting 3 meals. We all shared them and got a taste of all. Absolutely to die for meals. Presentation was beautiful and the... More

When we arrived there were only table in the beer garden. Here you could get a drink and an appetizer. Get the yam fries! They are awesome! After about 1/2 hour we got a table on the deck. Here we ordered the bacon wrapped dis and seafood dish to share. Both outstanding, but again, very expensive Wait staff was very... More

We went for an early dinner arriving just at 5:00 when they opened. They were able to seat us on the porch which was lovely. Quickly though the restaurant filled up so if you want to go, make a reservation. I had the salmon which was grilled on top of the house salad. It was by far the best salmon... More
