Last dinner in alaska

Found this joint on TripAdvisor as number one in Girdwood. Service was good, food was well prepared. The seafood was fresh, the fettuccine was not Al Dante enough. Overall a good experience!

Showed up for our reservation and were told it would be about 7 minutes. Waited 20 minutes still didn't get a table. The whole time we waited there was a table for four available. Walked out and wouldn't ever go back.

Fine dining in a casual ski resort atmosphere - ambiance is warn and friendly - tables are close together so more people can enjoy but we found talking to new people easy in Akaska. Excellent service and a chocolate cake with marscapone which is not to be missed. Extensive wine list and although somewhat pricey, worth the cost. Food is... More

We're visiting from Australia and this restaurant is by far the best in Girdwood. Actually, this would have to be one of my worldwide, all-time favorite restaurants. The food is modern and healthy with vegetarian and vegan options. The atmosphere is warm and staff are friendly. Raw cheesecake is a must!!

Good food but of in consistent quality. Wish the chef from 4 years ago would come back. Small intimate atmosphere. No bar to speak of.

The food is delicious. I had their lamb dish recently, and it was perfect. The ambience is very nice and service professional. While you might describe the prices as expensive, the food is really that good. This is my second time eating at Jack Sprat and it has yet to disappoint.

The food here is consistently good. They have amazing breakfast options that are served until 2 pm on weekends. I highly recommend the yam fries. They are amazing.

Flying to Anchorage a local told me to try Jack Sprat Restaurant in Girdwood if time permitted. She claimed the food there was as sophisticated as any found in the big cities of the world and at least as well prepared. Who is this woman I thought. What does she know. I've eaten in NYC (former home), Chicago (also former... More
