Seven Glaciers is one of Alaska's finest dining experiences. Nestled on the side of a mountain, the whole experience is extraordinary. To get to the restaurant, you have to ride a tram from the Alyeska Resort to the top of the mountain. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and is a classy dining experience. The wait staff is uniformed, and... More

I came here for my birthday, and I was impressed with the service. Excellent food. Excellent customer service. Beautiful views. The portions are a little bit small and pricey, but the food is very good. Just make sure you’re not starving if you come here! The restaurant is very beautiful and well kept. I really wanted a salmon dinner (but... More

Our family enjoyed a great dinner here in August. The food was really, very quite good. The whole experience of the tram ride and running around the mountain side after dinner is hard to beat.

We visited for new years ever. The food was excellent, service staff were extremely knowledgeable and good. Ambiance was brilliant. The only odd thing for a establishment of that calibre was the hostess telling us to move our own drinks from the bar area to table (as our table not quire ready) as she was underage, so not allowed. She... More

One of the best if not the best restaurant I have tried in Alaska. The food was great, the service was nice, the interior and the location are just breathtaking. The oysters were delicious and fresh. The bison burger was cooked to the order.

From the booking experience at reception with the clear directions, to the tramway ride up the mountain with the excellent staff, to the welcome, the descriptions of the meals from a clearly enthusiastic server, to the wonderful food and extensive wine list - this was a top notch experience. The bisque and Alaska king crab in particular were wonderful. And... More

At Seven Glaciers you pay for the overall experience of the tram ride, location, & pretty food. The food is good but not excellent. It certainly isn't the best food in the Anchorage vicinity. It's not even the prettiest. But it is very expensive: a [small] lobster salad costs $18 & a [small] filet mignon costs $49 (I believe that's... More

From the waiter who knew all about the menu and the wine list, to the uber attentive bus staff. This restaurant IS the finest establishment I have eaten in, in Alaska. Scallop bisque, and the very best New York strip I've ever had! The only way I can describe this place is; 'This was an experience' Thank you to everyone... More

Oh. My. Goodness. First of all, the tram ride up the mountain is worth the price of admission! What gorgeous views! Once you arrive, there are breathtaking views from the restaurant. I found myself in awe. The menu selections are lovely! The servers are outstanding - beyond polite, they are gracious and knowledgeable. The food is high quality, fresh, and... More

I highly recommend doing "7Gs" during daylight hours, otherwise half the reason for going is gone (View + Fine Food). It ain't cheap, but it sure is good.
