Better than most. Some great micro-brews. Girdwood 'downtown' is a one-block U-turn, so you can't miss Chair 5.

Great atmosphere, great food and great service. What more could you ask for? We ordered 2 medium pizzas, split them between myself and two hungry boys, and took pizza with us to eat the next day. Definitely try the Golden Potato pizza. Quite a unique flavor. Good beer sections as well.

we asked a local where the best place to eat would be. We ate here twice and both times were not disappointed. Cheap beers and great food and we had the same server both times great server!!

Not a lot of dining choices in Girdwood but this place was fine for our family of 4 while staying 2 nights at Alyeska. Short drive into Girdwood (for that matter it is a very short drive THROUGH Girdwood). Food and service was good, prices reasonable for Alaska and ambiance fun (they did not seem to enforce the posted rule... More

I can't write a review about the food as we didn't actually get a seat. We went there on a Friday evening and expected a short delay. We put our name down on the list with the hostess. We watched as other groups of people arrived after us and also put our name down on the list. To our surprise... More

I'll just reiterate what others have said, great food and slow service. I would say the service is slow in part because the servers are friendly and a lot of the folks are from out of town and asking questions. My kids are chicken strips snobs and they make excellent ones here and fries to go with them. The soups... More

Pretty good place. It will not disappoint on pizza, fries, chili. Good pub grub. We would eat here again if given the opportunity. Inexpensive for the area.

Huge portions, good food, and very reasonable prices. Kids' menu had sufficient variety to please everyone.

Chair 5 hosted our rehearsal dinner for our party of 25 people and we highly recommend it for large groups. Since we kept it at 25, we did not have to rent out the entire restaurant, which saved us a lot of money. Spike, the owner, helped us figure out to just get reservations for our large party a little... More
