Late dinner

The inn was an eclectic feast for the eyes. The meals were good, but not spectacular for the price. There was more than enough quantity.

Loved the decor and atmosphere. The food was excellent and the restaurant was always packed, a good indication of a great meal.

This is a very popular, bustling place with all sorts of interesting artifacts on every imaginable surface. Their specialty is Louisiana food. I had the jambalaya, and it was different (more andouille sausage and larger chunks of celery and onion, less shrimp and tomato) and also hotter than what you will find in Louisiana, where I lived there for several... Although they are famous for their pepper steak, I can get a steak virtually anywhere. I always get fresh salmon or some other locally caught fish and I have yet to be disappointed. They don't take reservations so get there early to avoid standing in the inevitably long line. The food is worth the trip and the scenery along Seward... More

Great food. Very cool decor. Very over the top friendly server. Loved it. This is a very expensive restaurant. You would not expect it by looking at it from the outside. We heard about it from the Alyeska hotel so we had to try it. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff and really good food. Loved the decor as well.... More

This place is amazing. It would be amazing no matter where it was located. Well worth the drive from Anchorage, just make sure they are open before you head out.

In Anchorage for dinner and several people recommended this place. For a shack in the woods, it was packed the night we went, but they let us sit in the bar area and order from the bar until they had room for our party. A little pricey but the food and atmosphere were great.

Perhaps the Double Musky experience I had suffered from too much hype. Too many gushing reviews proclaiming world class culinary delights. Don't get me wrong... it's a very good dining experience... but it's not an amazing one. The decor is really cool but it's too cramped as they try to serve too many folks. It was a bit hot and... We had a large party at the double musky on a Friday night. We all ordered dinners, which should have included a salad. No salad was offered, and at the end of our meal, we inquired why, and was told a salad is complimentary, but you had to ask for it, which isn't the definition of complimentary. When something is... We enjoyed the food very much. It is a little pricey, but not compared to other fancy restaurants in the area. My husband had the salmon and I had the King Crab, both very good! Be sure to get there early enough as they fill fast!
