We went here for dinner following our amazing glacier dog sledding experience in Girdwood. It was recommended to us by several locals and they were right....it is quirky, fun, unforgettable and most of all, delicious! My husband and I both had freshly caught halibut and a great glass of wine. The wine selection in this place is fantastic. The atmosphere... More

We have eaten here before, and decided to return. We arrived early, and were hoping to sit in the sunroom again since it's the only bright and airy area in the restaurant. The rest is dark. The hostess was accommodating and since the only seating available was a long table in the middle, she set us up a table for... More

Our Alaskan friends have a cabin in town that we stayed at for one night. We headed out to the Double Musky and it was unbelievable how many people were there and spilling outside waiting to get in. We waited outside until we found a table in the bar. Note, will have to pay for any drinks and appetizers before... More

We ordered the food network advertised item (peppered steak). My first bite was nothing but gristle. It was so bad I had to spit it out in my napkin. The rest had no flavor even with the peppered crust, so disappointing. Also, important to note we requested medium and received rare (red center). We also ordered the sirloin with bearnaise... More

While the food here has a Cajun bent, the portions are enormous. I wouldn't order an appetizer as most will have more than enough food with their entree. Steaks and seafood dominate the menu with chicken and lamb offered as well. Nice casual atmosphere although the tables are a little too close to each other for comfort. Still the Double... More

This is a very unique place-- lots of cool items and art hanging on every inch of wall space--and i mean every space--- we arrived around dinner time and the place was literally packed with diners-- we soon found a table in the bar -- had drinks and wonderful appetizer..were seated in dining room soon after so not much of... The salmon was divine. Best I've had since our visit began. The atmosphere is warm and eclectic. The waitstaff is attentive. Highly recommend the Double Musky pie.

My husband and I went to the Double Musky and celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We've lived in Alaska for almost 20 years and have never made it to the Double Musky, so it was about time! We had a pleasant wait at the bar of only about 25 minutes before we were seated by the window. Our Server was... More

A quaint little cabin in the woods. This restaurant is on the small side and crammed with unique decor. They open their doors promptly at 4:30 rain or shine so you need to be there to avoid the dinner rush. Their rack of lamb and huge pork chops were wonderful! The portions are huge and you will definitely be taking... More
