We planned on having a big meal here when we heard all the rave reviews. The only problem was they made us wait in the lounge for an hour. By the time our table was ready we were full from eating their delicious appetizers. The portions were good size but the flavors were outstanding. Would definitely go again but make... More

Decor and atmosphere is not fine dining but eclectic. Furnishings are basic. This place is Creole/Cajun and known for their steaks. The ceilings are decorated with Mardi Gras beads and beer trays nailed to the ceiling. The wait staff is extremely casually dressed but their approach is semi fine dining. The salad was nothing spectacular, romaine pieces and croutons, homemade... More

Ordinarily I'd rave about the double musky. It's something of an Alaskan institution, and until now have never had a bad meal there. But comme ci, comme ça it now is and perhaps lesson learned: Stick with what you know and not what others tell you. I love filet with a glass of full-bodied red. My wife loves the crab... More

This is a little restaurant in Girdwood that is absolutely fantastic! They do not take reservations so it can be difficult to get in at times (so I've heard) but on a Thursday evening we did not have any problems. The food was fantastic, especially if you like Cajun food! But...they also have excellent steaks, etc. Would definitely go back... More

It has been a few years since our last visit. Atmosphere is still great. It is especially nice to visit during the "shoulder" season when waiting time is at a minimum. The Atmosphere is just delicious, but I must say smaller portions would be appreciated. Prices are pretty high, so a smaller dish at a lower price would be welcome.... More

We went here for dinner following our amazing glacier dog sledding experience in Girdwood. It was recommended to us by several locals and they were right....it is quirky, fun, unforgettable and most of all, delicious! My husband and I both had freshly caught halibut and a great glass of wine. The wine selection in this place is fantastic. The atmosphere... More

We have eaten here before, and decided to return. We arrived early, and were hoping to sit in the sunroom again since it's the only bright and airy area in the restaurant. The rest is dark. The hostess was accommodating and since the only seating available was a long table in the middle, she set us up a table for... More

Our Alaskan friends have a cabin in town that we stayed at for one night. We headed out to the Double Musky and it was unbelievable how many people were there and spilling outside waiting to get in. We waited outside until we found a table in the bar. Note, will have to pay for any drinks and appetizers before... More

We ordered the food network advertised item (peppered steak). My first bite was nothing but gristle. It was so bad I had to spit it out in my napkin. The rest had no flavor even with the peppered crust, so disappointing. Also, important to note we requested medium and received rare (red center). We also ordered the sirloin with bearnaise... More
