The food was fresh and delicious. We had the jambalaya and the Pepper Steak. And the coconut cream pie was hands down he best we have ever had. The place gets packed and noisy and there is usually a pretty long wait for a table but it was worth it!

My husband and I went here for an early dinner, and were pleasantly surprised. For some reason I had imagined something a little more "crab-shack-esque" but it was not at all like I thought. It was eclectic with lots of fun art and resembled a classier version of a tavern, but with a really nice wine cooler. Kind of hard... More

This is one of those kitschy restaurants with lots of stuff plastered everywhere and on everything. Went on a Friday night during busy tourist season so I did expect a crowd and a wait since they don't take reservations. Luckily we found seats at the bar and ordered a cocktail while we cooled our heels. Once seated we were attended... More

Double Musky is triple good. Food cooked to perfection, presented on time, and with great timely service. A short wait to get in for seating, but that becomes irrelavant when you see how awesome the food is. Great menu selections and great dessert selections, great value for what you get. The place is interestingly decorated which contributes to a good... More

Of the food served here, the desserts were just fantastic! I liked the one with Peanut Butter cheesecake as this is not too sweet. Other pastries were yummy like Blueberries and another local berry pies were just delish. Try out their cranberry juice too.

Great steak. I make a wonderful steak, so I rarely go out for steak; since the Musky was recommended I tried the place and had the New York and prawn. It was great. A must try.

We ate here on our last night in Alaska. It was a really great place and the food was excellent. It has a cajun flavor so you need to make sure what you are ordering is not spicy if you don't care for spicy food. We really enjoyed it. The only drawback was that the table we were seated at... More

This restaurant is pleasant and certainly the food is quite good. It is also on the expensive side and I wouldn't rave over it like some have. I wouldn't take small children. More for adults or teenage children. If possible stick to appetizers and very good drinks from the bar!

Appetizers were really good and the portions are decent size so you may be able to get away with ordering a few if you are not too hungry. We enjoyed the fried salmon and popcorn crawfish. Chef special dessert was delicious! Pecan and chocolate pie...yum! Upscale atmosphere comes with a price, but probabaly the nicest place in Girdwood.

Ambiance is a bonus here! The set up with ordering appetizers and beverages in the lounge is a great one! The dining area is just a visual you have to experience. So.much to see and read. The food - portions are definitely Alaskan - ginormous! The flavors are perfect! We had lamb chops - perfectly cooked and seasoned, New York... More
