We stop here for ice cream every time we are driving back from the peninsula. It is always busy, which is expected given the location. The ice cream is good, they have some uniquely Alaskan flavors, along with some standard Dreyers flavors. We always try to go for the Alaska flavors since we don't get those elsewhere. The service is... More

Decided to try it out after watching people sitting outside for the past week eating ice cream. I had a two scoop waffle cone with Death by Chocolate and Salted Caramel. It cost me $8.50. Pretty steep when I could have gone to Walmart and bought half gallons of both of them for less than that. But like every small... More

The ice cream was fine. It satisfied a craving, but that's all. I had a hot fudge sundae. The hot fudge was fine, too.

Solid ice cream shop. Many of the regular flavors like Death by Chocolate and vanilla, but also some interesting ones like fireweed & honey and Alaska wildberry. Loved the ability to have a kid-size scoop when multiple flavors were ordered. Several friendly scoopers made for a nice, refreshing quick stop after a hike.

Really good I assume homemade ice cream. Great top off to our sledding trip up the glacier! Thoroughly enjoyed the moose tracks.

Not much to say. Ice cream was our lunch today as we had a huge breakfast. This place has great pics of the area and history. Tables are along the wall to sit and enjoy your treat if you like!

The ice cream is really good. We were worned in advance by the server that certain flavors cost more. The caribou caramel of the Alaskan Denali Classics was one of those – but was very very good.

If you are heading into Girdwood or driving down the Seward Highway, this is a must-stop at if you have kids with you (or teens, and sometimes just adults). The ice cream is good, with unusual flavors, and in all the times I've been in there, I have always experienced great service with a smile.

The ice cream is really good. Not sure why they need to charge 35% more for certain flavors. The caribou carmel was one of those. Had the same exact flavor at ice cream shop at Denali and they didn't hike up the price. Prices are high enough without the added costs. Place is neat and clean.
