Tried to come here Oct. 13, 2013 it was closed. I asked a local if I was at the wrong location and he said the owner had their rent increased and decided it wasn't sustainable and moved.

Made a special trip for the Alyeska Hotel to town to eat here only to find it was closed. I had eaten here before and had a great meal. Was really disappointed that it was closed and the travel literature wasn't updated

The Mexican place is next door but I had to go to the laundromat as IT WON THE LAUNDROMAT OF THE YEAR AWARD in Alaska. The owner has done heaps to make this place an attraction: consider his ceiling hand painted with constellations and the themed-toilets. There is internet access and you get to meet the locals washing their socks.... More

We're from California and this place is d@/! Good. Funny friendly staff and massive tasty burritos. 100% worth a stop.

Mexican, kind-of. Some folks from California run it, so I guess that qualifies one to make Mexican food. Connected to a laundry mat, so it's convenient if you're doing the weekly wash. Nice atmosphere on the deck during the summer.

This hole-in-the wall is attached to laundromat that was voted #1 (at least that is what the sign said). The restaurant is tiny, but the place was SPOTLESS, as was the laundromat. Food was very good.

Food was very good. Kudos on local, natural and some organic ingredients. Dining room is small and very loud (friday night). It's a spot where the small town locals congregate. People from different tables were having conversations with each other. We felt a little out of place. It might be a great place to talk to locals and get a... More

my wife and i eat at casa at least once a week and i would eat there more often if i didn't already work in a restaurant. the food is always amazing and fresh and i always leave satisfied. the burritos are two meals in one and 3 tacos is enough for just about anyone.

While personel is not mexican, they proudly serve genuine mexican food. The smell really reminded us our travels to that beautiful country. You gotta have their wet burrito (huge burrito filled with meat, beans and cheese topped with their homemade salsa (muy picante!), more cheese, more than decent guacamole and sour cream. This will satisfy the big eaters - consider... More
