Imaginative salads

This cafe is set within the gardens which are very beautiful. The food was predominantly salads. The plates are heaped with fresh and tasty salad ingredients. Mine had shredded chicken (lots of), pineapple, paw paw and fresh coconut. Very nice.

Beautiful food, beautiful garden, beautiful people. This was the freshest and tastiest meal we had on the island. Most of the ingredients are sourced from their own garden. Definitely worth visiting!

Not only was the atmosphere amazing, but the food was the best tasting meal we had during our entire stay on the island. We arrived a half hour early for dinner, and spent the time admiring the gardens. After appreciating everything the garden had to offer, we were told our table was ready. The service was friendly and fast, and... More

The Curry Chicken Apple salad was the hubs favorite and I loved the fresh tuna and green beans myself for lunch. The desserts are to die for :} We also had dinner there. I didn't find it as impressive as lunch but it certainly wasn't bad by any means, just not remarkable. Sorry, I can't remember what we had for... More

What can I say but Wow!!! The tropical gardens are just stunning, the food devine and superb service! Sammy the Fijian waiter was brilliant with a lovely smile, great sense of humour and the best service we have received on the island. The food is all organic and grown in their own gardens. The owner John, is a winemaker in... More

After a couple of hours wandering the tropical gardens we had lunch at the cafe and it was a very pleasant experience! The menu is small but the food is delicious - the tropical salad is a must, made with home grown produce and an interesting combination of flavours and textures. The cafe is licensed and the beautiful classical music,... More

What a gorgeous setting, and what beautiful food !! The tropical salad was divine and the cheesecake with all the fresh fruit just lovely. The charming gentleman who runs it was a real character and helped make the visit special. Thank you.

While this is a beautiful spot and we appreciate that organic and home grown produce is going to be more costly, we were disappointed that a small plate of salad (although delicious) was between NZ$18.50 and $20! The amount on the food on the plate was the equivalent of an entree or side salad. The smoothies were about the same... More

We visited this cafe whilst exploring the beautiful botanical garden on Rarotonga. The garden itself is well worth a visit and the cafe is a nestled amongst the trees. The cafe setting was charming and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed sitting outside amidst nature. The cafe uses homegrown ingredients where possible and we had a...
