My local haunt for past 4 years when over in Raro & always love going here & catching up with Max....who seems to time his holidays now the same as me! Always welcoming & great burgers & best view in town while having a beer. Time for some maintenance though as looking very tired & wooden floors looking worse for... More

We have been to the Whatever Bar probably (over the years) about 10 times. The food is good, we have only been there for lunch, the music playing is always good (recorded, not live) The view is beautiful, it's a good cheap lunch for us, but a very enjoyable one - we'll definately be back on our next trip to... A small menu, charismatic staff and beautifully cooked dishes. Highly recommended for a relaxed evening out.

Great food, unique staff but friendly, sit on the roof and can watch the ocean. Off the beaten path which makes it special. Very basic, but really a memorable and fun place to have lunch. Burgers and fish/chips are great. Come as you are, no dress code. Small but clean and not set up for crowds.

Nice little raised bar hidden on the beach side of Avarua. Their chicken burgers are the best on the island in my opinion.

Having caught our own fish and staying in a resort, this place was recommended to us. They could not have been more helpful. They turned our fish into a entrée: Seared Mahimahi with mango salsa. Main dish: Pan fried Wahoo and crumbed Mahi mahi, with salad and chip all for $12 each!. Drinks were a great price as well and... More

Six bucks for lunch, wahoo burger & chips, upstairs looking over the ocean with a cold beer, not to bad value for money

I used to love this place but last week the experience was terrible. We went for lunch which was advertised on the chalk board outside. There was a sullen response that the kitchen wasn't open and essentially they just couldn't be bothered firing up the grill. It all seems like too much trouble to have customers actually arriving. Never ever... More
