I stopped at this café whilst driving round the island as it was opposite a beach and it had really pretty views. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the coffee was great. The food looked good however I was not hungry so I missed out on tasting the food. On my next visit in November I will definitely... More

We were touring around the island and found the cafe by chance so stopped. New building with a patio sporting an amazing view of the beach. Great staff who were personable and efficient, and not afraid to make suggestions for economy. We ate lunch there and went back the next day as well to try other items on the menu.... More

Good food, excellent service and facilities. A great place to enjoy a meal. The cheese cake was to die for, loved the way it was served with fresh fruit and ice cream - that little bit extra made our day!

Had lunch here and food was ok without being a standout. Did ask waitress whether they had decaf coffee and she replied "I don't know much about coffee" Settled for "ordinary" coffee. A little sterile as the new cafe is part of the bakery and the whole place looks like an implement shed with a coat of paint, at least... More

Had brunch at the now back in business Saltwater - after all the rave comments we were looking forward to this. What a disappointment..... I had the steak triple decker sandwich - around $18 I think... come on Saltwater - you are right in front of a bakery and yet this sandwich is simply 3 slices of white bread. What... More

Saltwater Café was destroyed by a fire about a year ago and we have all been waiting and waiting for it to come back to life. And finally, it has happened this week. The new place (in the old spot) looks soooo lovely and sparkly and new, and it is raised about a 1metre from the old site so the... More
