Good food, excellent service and facilities. A great place to enjoy a meal. The cheese cake was to die for, loved the way it was served with fresh fruit and ice cream - that little bit extra made our day!

Had lunch here and food was ok without being a standout. Did ask waitress whether they had decaf coffee and she replied "I don't know much about coffee" Settled for "ordinary" coffee. A little sterile as the new cafe is part of the bakery and the whole place looks like an implement shed with a coat of paint, at least... More

Had brunch at the now back in business Saltwater - after all the rave comments we were looking forward to this. What a disappointment..... I had the steak triple decker sandwich - around $18 I think... come on Saltwater - you are right in front of a bakery and yet this sandwich is simply 3 slices of white bread. What... More

Saltwater Café was destroyed by a fire about a year ago and we have all been waiting and waiting for it to come back to life. And finally, it has happened this week. The new place (in the old spot) looks soooo lovely and sparkly and new, and it is raised about a 1metre from the old site so the... More

Like most spots in Raro this is casual, friendly and on the water. Only had a beer as restaurant wasn't open -

Wow, just reading the café was destroyed by fire in November last year. I hope that everyone is ok ! I truly wish them all the best and hopefully they choose to rebuild as it is a sad loss. We were in Rarotonga staying just down the road. We were looking for somewhere to grab a coffee and came across... More

Would love to write a fantastic review, but unfortunately this property and the bakery next door we lost in a fire. Hope you will rebuild and we can support you next year

Bad news. The whole building which comprised the Turoa Bakery and Saltwater Café was totally destroyed by fire on 2 November. The Bakery, which owns the building, intends to rebuild but I don't know whether it will include the Saltwater Café. A disaster for Rarotonga and a great pity for those visitors who enjoyed visiting the café for breakfast and... More

We've passed this cafe many times on our trips to Rarotonga & finally stopped for lunch on the last day of our latest trip .... how we wish we'd stopped sooner!.... Will be top of our list for our future visits. Wonderful menu, full of variety - something for everyone & mmmmm the food - quality, authentic, full of flavour... More
