Best coffee on the island

Being "coffee snobs" we took our own coffee and Aeropress to Aitutaki with us, but on recommendation of a couple of Sydney guys staying in the next bungalow (fellow coffee snobs!) we checked out Koru Cafe and were not disappointed. We also had the tropical fruitcake which was amazing. Its a... read more

We were told we must visit Koru for their Tuna burgers. We shared one and it was very nice . I have to admit we are not huge fanes of raw fish but this as still very nice even for us. We tried this as, although it is not our favourite thing, everyone said you must have a fish burger... More

A must on the island for great coffee and food. A highlight was the coconut cheesecake - one of the best I've tasted. Friendly staff and a tasty selection of food including gluten free. Can't go wrong. Also one of the few places I've found to try the local Cook Islands beer. Give it a go.

The food hear was delicious. They have lots of sandwiches, which we took with us kayaking. There are some souvenirs, which were nice.

Cute place with good food and service. Just be sure to sit inside or lather up with mozzie spray (provided by Koru - very good of them!)

We had a great meal here, and the best banana smoothie I have ever had. They have a high standard of customer service, a great range of food and friendly staff. Unfortunately, we only discovered the cafe on our last day on the island at lunchtime and the breakfasts that people were having looked fantastic. Highly recommend eating at the... More

We had the calamari appetizer and shared the giant chicken and bacon sandwich. Both were fantastic and we left completely stuffed.

We were very surprised they did not have coconut water or fresh juices in such a beautiful part of the world. Just an average place.
