Island Night at Pacific Resort's Rapai restaurant was amazing. Their new executive chef had prepared a huge array of island foods, including tender roast pork, with his own European fusion flavours. Curry with coconut cream and fruit, sweet and savory combined, just a touch of jalapeno in the right places. The dessert buffet didn't disappoint either. From Pavlova to mini... More

We stayed for 7 nights in Aitutaki and ate here 4 times. The food was of top quality( a bit up there in price) with sensible portions. The Island night spread was exceptional...the two Tuna dishes were to die for.How do they make softly seared Tuna so tender with great structure(to start with it is obviously very fresh).Very highly recommended.

During my stay on Aitutaki I visited the restaurant of the Pacific Resort twice. When I first went for a casual dinner all my expectations were totally met. Great food and very warm service. Had the lamb and the home made sorbets. A few days later I went to their Island Night. The show was very entertaining... and the buffet... More

Loved the elevation position, the view out to the lagoon at sunset was just stunning. Good menu, and the service was good and presentation of the food was lovely. But the food itself was a bit bland, and very expensive. Preferred Tamanu restaurant.

We had dinner here one night over sunset & food was below average. For the price they charge, you would expect tasty good quality food but it wasn't very tasty at all. Staff were friendly and views were beautiful but they need to do something about the quality of their food.

Expensive, expensive (we were prepared for that.) Food was not good except for the coconut sorbet. Service was alright but for the money we'd go elsewhere. The setting is lovely. I think they need a new chef.

We stopped in at the hotel for a romantic sunset dinner at the Rapae Bay Restaurant. The view was amazing as the sun set. The service was outstanding and friendly. Our dinner was delicious but oh so expensive I believe that this meal was the most expensive of our trip to the Cook Islands and it wasn't like we had... More

Honestly can't comment on the food but I imagine looking at the prices I can only assume it must be first rate. We were staying up the beach and popped in a couple of times for coffee (very good) and once for drinks (wow). One Steinlager and a Sav Blanc $26! But, great staff, incredibly friendly and you may catch... More
