Good food.

The food was good and the atmosphere was French Polynesian French, no AC as is the norm here. Would definitely consider visiting again if I was in the area.

While the Canadienne does better than its next door neighbor in terms of food, it has the very bad habit of overcharging for drinks. A bottle of water can be half the cost of your main course. A beer can be twice the appetizer. It's a real shame because the food menu - albeit limited - is both interesting and... More

This was one if the first places we went to in Moorea and when I read the description of their burger I knew I had to go for it. The portion was massive and it wasn't a case of quantity over quality, the burger was fantastic and I'm craving I ne as I write this review. The staff was very... More

Had lunch on our last day of our annual 5-6 week visit to Moorea. The best salad of the entire trip. Great service, large menu, cold draft Hinano Can't wait until next year. I think I'll bring some Tillamook Cheddar and have a real Cheeseburger if I can talk the chef into using my cheese.

Although Moorea is beautiful it is a small island with very few residents. This means there are few restaurants and they tend to be expensive. This place was a real treat for us after a week on the island. Great big burgers, very friendly owners and good prices. The burgers come with pop and salad or fries. I wish they... More

Being a Texan, we eat a lot of cow. We eat steak, brisket and burgers at every cookout it seems. We know burgers. We also know that mayo sucks and mustard is the way to go! ;-) Having said that Yankees and Canadians (and French Polynesians) love them some mayonnaise. The burger meat was good and all the fix'ns were... More

I read about this place before we landed and was so happy we were able to try it! We came for lunch (very cost effective - 4900 CFP for two large burgers, fries, a pitcher of beer, water). The owners were very nice and the local police ended up eating there too. I had the Quebecois which was delicious and... More
