Such a lovely place. The women who work here were so hospitable. We had the mahi mahi with coconut milk. They were out of steak, but I hear that's wonderful too. The only drawback was that it was so hot out and the tables in the shade are all reserved (lesson learned for next time). But the lady was so... More

Hands-down the best meal we had in Moorea, and big portions to boot! After three straight days of heavy, buttery French-inspired cuisine, we were ready for some fresh seafood. Definitely recommend the tuna and mahi-mahi steak here. The seaside location means no mosquitoes (huge blessing), and if you sit close to the water, you may even be lucky enough to... More

We hired a scooter and drove around the island by the time we got to snack mahana it was 1.30 and we were starving, I ordered the chefs salad and my husband had the cheese burger. My salad was grilled mahi mahi with a large selection of veges the fish had the nicest flavour I have ever tasted on fish... More

We went for lunch on our way to the Intercontinental Moorea resort which is only a 5 minute drive. This place is open at noon everyday except Sunday according to the sign out front. Unlike all the reviews regarding slow service, it was stellar for French Polynesian standards. When you dine in Tahiti & islands you cannot expect the same... More

You need to know how to enjoy this restaurant. First of all they open at 11:30am, so to avoid some of the frustartions of other reviewers we made a reservation through our concierge for 11:30. We arrived ten minutes early and were the first ones there, best seat in the house next to the water and as they do not... More

The food was delicious and well priced. The location is nice, but the service is slow. I went for lunch yesterday (grilled mahi mahi and French fries) and today (curry shrimp with rice). The food was good and the prices were great (1650 xpf and 2100 xpf, respectively). The only complaint is that, at minimum, it’ll take 2 hours to... More

I really wanted to like this place after reading the reviews on here. When we rented a car for the day, I was excited to find it. We stopped for lunch and was quickly seated. We ordered our food and drinks. The drinks came (diet coke and a beer) and 90-minutes later we received a basket of bread with butter.... More

I believe they are only open for lunch and were able to fit them into our schedule on our last day on Moorea. Both dishes we ordered were superb but the portions were so huge, I could barely finish half my meal. We had the fried fish with coconut milk sauce and the carpaccio. We did not have time nor... Heard about Snack Mahana from TA reviews and I hounded my husband that this was one restaurant I did not want to miss. Got there right at opening time (11am) and there were already people there. Some of the tables were even reserved. You can tell this place has built quite a reputation. I had the tuna tartare and hubby... More

Go to snack Mahana. You may wait some time before being served, but the food is delicious. An Excellent snack. Authentic Tahitian family :) The restaurant is in their garden's house. Not expensive. We went there 3 times during our stay in this wonderful island.
