We stopped at Snack Mahana during a self-driving tour of Moorea and had an excellent meal. The food was terrific (especially the poisson cru and coconut mahi mahi!). Service was excellent, although we had a reservation which helped. Can be busy during the lunch time, but a wonderful stop on our tour!

We had two increbile lunches at this very friendly and relaxing restaurant. Our hotel recommended this restaurant for lunch as we wanted a place to try local dishes. From reading reviews prior to our visit I knew it was set up at the home of the owner and that most of the seating was in the backyard - within a... More

We arrived for lunch at Snack Mahana on a very rainy day, and soon had to move from the outdoor section indoors to avoid a tropical downpour, ably assisted by our waitress. Nevertheless we loved the place - great food, lovely and fun staff, and great atmosphere. Prices were also ok - at least by FP standards!

Went there while I was staying in Moorea, very nice atmosphere, right on the water and could see fish and rays in the water, I am sure it can be windy at times but it was great when I was there. We had fresh tuna and fries, the fish was very nicely cooked. The clientele seemed to be a lot... More

Burger is the best! The terrace has direct view to the lagoon. Service is a little slow due to high volume of customer.

Best meal on my trip - even over fancier restaurants... This place is the real deal. Great poisson cru, in a house right on the beach. I dream about the poisson cru it was that good. You can walk from the IC Moorea in about 15 mins or rent a bike. We enjoyed our walk, very scenic. Bring cash, they... More

We were on our honeymoon and walked from the Intercontinental Hotel and Resort. It was not far away. Cozy place with great food and friendly service. Their prices were much cheaper then the resort restaurants. I had the seared tuna and my husband had the grilled Mahi Mahi and both were amazing. I recommend if you don't want to spend... More

We had read all the reviews and was not disappointed. We had a table on the edge of the lagoon and the restaurant had a very casual back yard feeling under a large tree. The weather was really hot so was thankful for the shade. The food was really nice and I also recommend the Breaded Mahi Mahi in coconut.... More

After a two week cruise, we were looking forward to some home-cooked, local fare and that is exactly what we got. We were there for lunch on a Wednesday and had no problem finding a table. The location right on the turquoise lagoon, essential sitting in the backyard of someone's home, was just delightful. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh... More

This was a great little spot and although I had a delicious Tuna steak my wife had an undercooked burger that was almost raw and led to her getting a bad case of food poisoning. So my feelings on this spot are mixed one of us had an amazing lunch one of us got horribly sick.
