Based on positive reviews, we stopped in to have dinner at Le Martinez. There were no customers when we arrived, and none for our entire 2.5 hour meal. The owner told us his credit card machine was "broken", so he could only accept cash. We ordered a bottle of white wine, which he returned to tell us he had no... More

After our circle island tour we needed a pause from some of Moorea's rough roads. What better than a Hinano, the beer that made Tahiti famous. We had a lovely spot on the patio as you can see in the photos and M. Martinez graciously offered to take a few more. We only had beers and fries but there is... More

Had a BBQ cancelled last-minute so decided to walk down the road to a Chinese place, stopped in here for a beer and ended up staying for a meal. We ended up splitting a coconut breaded parrot fish, and it was delicious.

What a fantastic find on our scooter around the island so nice to have food served with lots of vegetables and salads instead of always being asked if we want French fries We went there for dinner and I had the curried shrimp with coconut so flavoursome it was delicious My husband had the grilled wahoo again beautiful flavours with... This restaurant is located inside Cook's bay and has a very nice scenic view. You can sit outside or inside, we felt like "at home". The owner (also the chef) was nice and welcoming. We were the only ones in the place but had to wait almost 30min to get our fish. The wait was definitely worth it, our fish... More

On our circumnavigation of Moorea by scooter, we discovered Le Martinez Cafe, right on Cook's Bay. A great little restaurant, with cold beer and tasty seafood dishes. The Service was good, and the atmosphere easy-going and relaxed. Just what we needed to relax a bit in the midst of exploring Moorea.

No real view of the water but a perfectly enjoyable roadside cafe with brilliant seafood, interesting placemats (fish) and amenable staff.

In our 2011 visit to Moorea, Le Martinez was new on Cook's Bay and we enjoyed our meals then. We went back in 2013 and found it continues to be very good. The other half had a lovely fish brochette with rice and vegetables - with the entree both local and fresh. I had a lovely fish soup (which was... More

A very nice place. Tables spaced well. Owner friendly and helpful. The food is highly recommended. I wish we had a place like this back home. Must be the fresh fish and French influence.

Yes, I know that most folks are looking for seafood when they go to Tahiti. We're the exception. We just want to swim with the fishies, not eat them. Honestly, we struggle to find non-seafood options when we visit every year. We decided to eat here based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor. I'm glad we did!!!! There was... More
