A Very Pleasant Evening

We dined here while staying nearby at the Intercontinental. We had asked the concierge at the hotel for suggestions for local restaurants and we are glad we did! They pick you up and return you to the hotel which was really nice. Nice atmosphere, good food and wine ~ we would return!

Visited our first night in Moorea during our honeymoon. It wasn't bad and it wasn't exceptional. Prices were reasonable and the service was good but the food didn't really stand out. Don't get me wrong, the food was edible but a bit bland in my opinion.

I ordered the penne a la pescatore, a pasta dish served with mahi mahi and mussels, garlic, parsley and a white wine sauce. It was delicious. Also, had the tiramisu for desert and was the best I have ever had.

I have mixed feeling about this one. The setting out on the deck, right on the beach, is fantastic! The food was ok, but didn't taste that much. The service was terrible, and the waitress to our table did not attend to us at all, and gave us major attitude when we tried to make contact. Unfortunate, because the location... More

So my wife read up about this amazing fish that they had at the restaurant. The Mahi-Mahi with vanilla sauce. The dish and food was really good but the service was a bit of a let down. Honestly, the staff members are rude as hell and most of them could not speak a word english. But the food made up... More

Had a great meal here. A little hard to find. It's located behind the hotel towards the water yet there is another closed restraint at the front which is different. Place was recommended to us by a local and we agree. Good down to earth food at reasonable pricing. Plus a great view of the water. Saw our hotel staff... More

Given mostly favourable reviews of this spot my family thought we'd try this spot for a swim and lunch. The location itself is fairly nice, some shady grass, mostly exposed beach, a jetty and water-sports area. The swimming is okay for families but you need to find sandy spots between the stony areas and the buzz of jet skis and... More

On an island of mostly resort and "snak", it's hard for some to find a place that has some ambiance and good, basic food. Les Tipinier fits the bill.

We weren't staying at the hotel, but the beach nearby was great and we spend two straight days there. We liked the restaurant so much we went back the next day for lunch. Beautiful atmosphere, which we found is hard to come by on Moorea. Staff was very nice and even charged our electronics for us while we ate. We... More
