A small restaurant adjoining boutique hotel. Excellent service and the food is great. In an upcoming neighborhood. Highly recommend it for lunch or dinner.

This restaurant is part of the Hotel Boutique Jade, a well-appointed small hotel near the University campus. It's menu choices are not typical Costa Rican, but more continental in taste. The dishes tend to use more sauces than basic Costa Rican cuisine and the menu is long enough to give most diners plenty of choices.

Not the best place to eat definitely. Food is "international" but it is not really as good as you might think when entering the restaurant. Place is nice but the food does not live up to the initial expectation.

We crossed town from our hotel (thirty minute drive) because we thought this would be something special in San Jose. We were mildly disappointed. I have enjoyed the excellent food here while staying at the Boutique Hotel Jade. The food and service were great.

We were thinking about going out to dinner and felt more like staying and eating at the hotel's restaurant. I ordered onion soup, that was excellent, and for the main course I had veil wienerschnitzel which came with a salad. Everything was superb, I was so full I couldn't finish and that made me very sad.

Extensive menu. Food all tasted very good. Service was impeccable. More of a business or couple place. Not really or family. I would go back for sure.

We were very impressed with the high quality of food and level of service; the wine was very good too.
