We stayed in the adjoining hotel on our last day in Costa Rica and had the opportunity to eat at this amazing little gem of a restaurant. Surrounded by people speaking many languages, we really felt that it had an international appeal. My salmon stuffed ravioli with a vodka tomato sauce was incredible. After hearing good things about L'Olivo I decided to go expecting an exceptional experience. On my first visit I was certainly charmed by the atmosphere of the small 14 table restaurant. To start with the service was slow even though the restaurant was full there are only 14 tables and I counted 5 wait staff. I had to ask for... More

This restaurant is connected to Suites Cristina Hotel. Our group ate here twice. The salmon stuffed ravioli was outstanding! I also had the Orecchiette with veal and tomato sauce..just as outstanding! The warm bread with olive oil is divine to start your meal with. Their portion size is smaller than what restaurants in the United States serves....however it was just... More

We had veal, pasta, chicken and fish entres and all were good. The veggies are fresh and crunchy, the bread is delicious and sauces were tasty. The portions are large and prices are... More

We thought we were in Costa Rica, but behind the doors of Olivio it is so easy to imagine you are in Italy. What a style. How Italian. We have been in Italy several times, but hardly never we had such good food. We loved the way they decorated the restaurant. Salads were exellent. So was the beef and postresses.... More

My husband and I ate here while staying at the Hotel Christina to which this restaurant is attached. The service was great and food was delicious. We both had pasta and were very satisfied.
