Full house on Sunday. Good food, good atmosphere. On the cool side of the tracks (actually 2 meters from the tracks). The place to be on a weekend!

Returned to this restaurant for the 4th time (various trips) and the food is still great. Was disappointed that one of menu items we wanted was not available however the servers and service was great. We were remembered and that was nice.

I am not a picky person at all but this place missed the mark. The food is delicious no doubt. I had the sea bass and some pasta. No veggies were added for some reason. The bread was good but no butter and the oil was salad dressing oil. The waiter was put off by us the whole time. We... More

We stayed in the adjoining hotel on our last day in Costa Rica and had the opportunity to eat at this amazing little gem of a restaurant. Surrounded by people speaking many languages, we really felt that it had an international appeal. My salmon stuffed ravioli with a vodka tomato sauce was incredible. The veal scallopini was also delicious. It... More

After hearing good things about L'Olivo I decided to go expecting an exceptional experience. On my first visit I was certainly charmed by the atmosphere of the small 14 table restaurant. To start with the service was slow even though the restaurant was full there are only 14 tables and I counted 5 wait staff. I had to ask for... More

This restaurant is connected to Suites Cristina Hotel. Our group ate here twice. The salmon stuffed ravioli was outstanding! I also had the Orecchiette with veal and tomato sauce..just as outstanding! The warm bread with olive oil is divine to start your meal with. Their portion size is smaller than what restaurants in the United States serves....however it was just... More

We went to L'olivio twice and every table filled up each time. The wait staff remembered us and was attentive to special foood needs such as allergies. We had veal, pasta, chicken and fish entres and all were good. The veggies are fresh and crunchy, the bread is delicious and sauces were tasty. The portions are large and prices are... More
