Good & reasonable restaurant

This is one of my favorite restaurants in San Jose. I recommend the shrimp thermador or the lobster. I've been to other seafood restaurants in San Jose but it's hard to beat the prices at La Princess Marina. We usually go to the one in Curridebat just because it is closer to our home. They also... read more

A gem! Visiting from New Jersey, USA. Took 14 family members to dinner. A lot of steak, fish, and seafood entrees consumed. Drinks, cordials, deserts, and coffees ordered. Great service, friendly, attentive and the food was delicious...under $300!!! Prices are super reasonable.....definitely coming back!

If this restaurant was a fish fast food it would be good..but they are called restaurant so my rating is quite low.We had a rice with prawn that was completely without flovour, a bit better was the broiled corvina (a fish from tropical and temperate water)

My colleagues and I wanted a good seafood meal and that's what we found. I really enjoyed the cordial atmosphere and the service was fast and efficient. My plate of garlic seafood was delicious. I can safely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Enjoy your meal!

The food is excellent, the ceviche is premium. The price is right, overall a very good place. We have eaten there every day that we were at the Crown Plaza. We have been here at the Crown Plaza for 2 weeks.

Well we ate at several of the Princesa Marinas quite regularly as the food was good , portions a good service and service excellent but after a few not so good visits and the quality was way down so we stopped going. Not one to hold that against a place that was always goo , we decided to take some... More

Very expensive and food is not fresh or good. I used to go there before but not any more. The fish soup was very bad.

Although the restaurant isn't considered a high end quality restaurant, its food represents knowledge and caring input as well as respect for all sea food alike. Ask for a Paella which will knock your socks off or enjoy the Fresh Friend Pargo (Red Snapper) to truly enjoy the flavor or a Costa Rican sea food diner. There are many locations... More

Unfortunately I think our hotel underestimated the tastes of me and my friend. Had we been your average American tourists, we probably would have loved this Red Lobster-esque Costa Rican restaurant, but unfortunately we were looking for something a bit more exquisite. Don't get me wrong: the food is good and the service is good, but that's it. It's good.... More

The food was fair the prices was good but there was nothing super special about the restaurant. Located near the park but with no view the atmosphere is something one might find at a beach restaurant without the beach. Service was not the best but the place seemed clean enough.
