We go to this place at least once or twice a year, so, once we forget what it tasted like, which means seafood... LOL, we go back. The service is fast. Don't expect anything special. They come to you, take your order, and that's it. No personal attention or check backs. The food is seafood. as someone said before, they... More

You will not find a better seafood restaurant in the world. As an airline employee I've been everywhere. This place is so unique, everything on the menu is amazing. Try the sea bass, if it's not the best you've ever had I'll give you your money back!

This turned out to be a big disappointment as I had always loved this restaurant at their location in Sabana oeste and Zapote also. The food was disappointing and the service was incredibly slow.

It has had several episodes of food poisoning, me included. Owner s attitude towards this problem not the best, seemed to me didn t care. I have never returned to this place. It is a shame, because food was good and price were really affordable for everybody

All the sea food at this place tastes the same: salty & horrible! They use the same oil to cook everything (from fish to shrimp to french fries). But the worst part, and this is the issue I really quite don't understand why this restaurant is still in business, is that they have been previosly closed by the National Ministry... More

Very good restaurant with various locations (Moravia, San Jose) with an ample selection on menu. Portions are more than adequate and the quality is consistent (at least in Moavia where I frequent). Definitely worthwhile to eat and will be a very good experience.

There are 2 of these, this review is for the one by Sabannah Park, not the outlying one. Good food, good value, very popular with the locals. Don't try it at lunch--the office crowd dominates from 12-2; or 5-7pm, or you will wait. Great seafood soup and ceviche. Very clean. Tables too close together, so-so service. If you are drinking,... Princesa Marina is good at what it is. Plenty of seafood at a very good price for San Jose. They are a small chain, with 4 restaurants in the San Jose area. I am familiar with the one in Sabana, near where I live. The dining area itself is spacious, and is best described to those from the US as... More

My husband had the sea bass, which was very good, but is grilled and includes the head and a few bones. I had the fried shrimp, which was good and no tails which is always a plus. The salad that came with the meal was great, I loved the dressing. It lacks atmosphere

Located in Sabana near the new stadium, La Princesa is a favorite of Ticos who demand great FRESH fish, at a moderate price.
