The dish I had was good, but not really the kind of thing I like. I'm more of a spicy cajun fan so I can't really judge. Nice family atmosphere, good service, comfortable.

The Seafood here is excellent, as I write this review I am salivating as I reminisce on those giant cocktail shrimp that was pleasing to the palate. Every course blows your expectation and you are waiting with anticipation for the next. The price here is quite reasonable and the staff is quite attentive and courteous.

We ate at Machu Picchu for our only night in San Jose (during a 10 day honeymoon). The food was AMAZING (seafood was so fresh) and the service was excellent! Definitely worth a visit!

The service was decent, but for the prices they charge we would have expected that the atmosphere and food quality were better. We had lunch for two with two beers each and no starters or desserts, and we didn't even choose the priciest meals, but paid over $45! Our food came out in less than 10 minutes, so was obviously... There is nothing cool about the neighborhood, the place itself not really fancy, everything lacks quite a bit of atmo. The Peruvian dishes are straight forward, definitely fresh and tasty. Above all it seemed to be rather on the inexpensive side. So if you're looking for honest food at a good price, go for it. you won't regret.

Terrific food. My Central American and Peruvian wise friends say it is the best Peruvian food in Central America. I was divine, great fish and soups and fish soups. Must visit.

All the great things we read about this restaurant were true. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is friendly, but most importantly, the food is amazing. There were three of us when we went for dinner at the Machu Pichu and each of us ordered a different ceviche as a first course. We are still debating which one was the... More

Service is good, food is great but good luck if you try their special hot sauce! It's hotter than anything we've ever had. The sea bass was special.

I have gone there twice. The service is attentive, the food prepared quickly and the juice drinks are very good. Overall a good experience.

Recently had dinner here with a few friends and really enjoyed it. Most of the dishes were very tasty, and the wait staff was quite pleasant as well. Nothing wowed us, but everything was good and cooked well. There are plenty of tables as well, so walking in doesn't seem to be a problem.
