Love the Peruvian style food, would go again and again to eat more and more ... I love the food and the chilly they provide to the clients, the ají. Love it!

My husband and I visited the restaurant for dinner on Mach 20, 2014 at 6.00 pm It was information that it is one of the best seafood restaurant in San Jose. First surprise, restaurant was almost empty. It was the last day of our 10 days vacation. We had great time in Costa Rica. We were healthy and happy. Sea... More

We stayed nearby and went to Machu Picchu twice. Outstanding food and staff was great. The food was exciting and new to us and the flavors were a treat. The neighborhood is a little dark and the restaurant not easy to find but it was extremely busy. You can tell there is a tourist part/local part of the place as... More

I've been here many times with friends and family. It had never failed to please me. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The pisco sour, a Peruvian alcoholic drink, is a must for the adventurous. The ceviche was fantastic. Last time, I ordered an octopus carpaccio for an appetizer and now I'm addicted. The seafood is a must. They... More

We went in a largish group (>20) and the staff weren't quite up to it. The food was fine, service deteriorated as the evening wore on. It would have been quite tolerable and okay until it came to paying the bill. Like most restaurants we used in CA they were very good at producing bills for singles and couples. What... More

The food was great, seafood prepared very well. Service was very helpful and cheery. There was plenty of food at a reasonable price. An experience not to miss if you are in San Jose.

Arrived at the restaurant early in the evening, great service and great food. Tried a Pico sour for the first time.

Surprisingly inexpensive. Good quality and value. Not just Peruvian meals, but try something Peruvian of course. Not a tourist hangout (although I don't know why) but a fine place to see Tico families enjoying a meal out.

Machu Picchu sea bass, and the seafood soup are great. Portion is big. Tables are not crowded together, so you can have a conversation.

We went here based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. We walked from a nearby hotel so the directions were not difficult. Just find the KFC and walk a few meters north. We arrived around 7pm and the restaurant was getting busy. A table was ready shortly and out server gave us menus. He was very attentive and... More
